Predictions, Odds and Betting Previews for All 2022 NFL Week 14 Games
Las Vegas Raiders (-250) vs Los Angeles Rams (+190) / Thursday, December 8 / 8:15 PM E.T.
- Raiders Spread: -6.0
- Rams Spread: +6.0
- Over/Under: 44.5
The Raiders and the Rams, two teams that were initially expected to be in the running for the postseason but are currently out of it, will face off in Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 14 of the NFL.
The Las Vegas team is on a roll, having won three games in a row, and keeping some playoff hopes as it sits two spots out of the AFC’s final wild card spot. With a 5-7 record, the Raiders are having a very sweet offensive moment with Derek Carr and Josh Jacobs as the stars, while the key has been the resurgence of a defense that has not conceded more than 20 points in two of its three consecutive victories .
For their part, the Rams have racked up six consecutive losses and have already signed the worst start of the season for a defending champion by being last in the NFC West at 3-9. Los Angeles is coming off a 27-23 loss to the Seahawks and remains one of the worst offenses in the league, scoring more than 20 points for only the third time this season. Moreover, they are likely to be without Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp once more.
Prediction: Raiders to win.

New York Jets (+350) vs Buffalo Bills (-450) / Sunday, December 7 / 1:00 PM E.T.
- Jets Spread: +9.5
- Buffalo Spread: -9.5
- Over/Under: 44
Next Sunday, we will have a vital game for the AFC East lockout when the Jets and Bills meet for the second time this season. In the first duel, the New Yorkers came out on top, winning 17-20.
The Jets must use that victory as motivation to bounce back from the two losses they have suffered in their last three games, which have put their postseason hopes in jeopardy. With a 7-5 record, they are still the last wild card in the AFC, but their offensive struggles could become an issue as the season progresses. Mike White didn’t look like the perfect solution to replace Zach Wilson, so the excellent work of the defense remains key for them.
Buffalo’s three consecutive wins, coupled with losses by the Dolphins and Chiefs, leave them with a 9-3 record as leaders of the AFC East and the American Conference, respectively. The Bills continue to be one of the most solid teams in the league, ranking among the best offenses with the presence of Josh Allen, while on the defensive side they are a real headache for opponents.
Prediction: Jets Spread.

Cleveland Browns (+220) vs Cincinnati Bengals (-275) / Sunday, December 7 / 1:00 PM E.T.
- Browns Spread: +6.0
- Bengals Spread: -6.0
- Over/Under: 47
Next Sunday’s showdown between Browns and Bengals is sure to draw sparks as these two AFC North rivals go for a very important win for both.
With Deshaun Watson already on the roster, Cleveland maintains its postseason hopes after winning its last two games to move within two games of the final AFC wild card with a 5-7 record. A win would not only keep them in contention, but would be a major blow to the Bengals. To do so, they need Watson to play much better than he did in his debut last weekend, and for the defense to have another groundbreaking night like the one they had against the Texans.
As for Cincinnati, they have four consecutive wins, including the last one against the mighty Chiefs. With a record of 8-4, they share the division lead with the Ravens, but are in second place due to the direct confrontation with Baltimore.
When they compete in the final week of action, this difference might evaporate; thus, they must keep on with their aggressive pace, which has them scoring more than 27 points in three of its four straight wins and conceding 21 points or fewer in three games in that same span.
Prediction: Over.

Houston Texans (+900) vs Dallas Cowboys (-1600) / Sunday, December 7 / 1:00 PM E.T.
- Texans Spread: +17.0
- Cowboys Spread: -17.0
- Over/Under: 45
The Texans-Cowboys game is most likely to be the most competitive NFL matchup of Week 14.
The Houston team has seven consecutive losses and its record is the worst in the league with a 1-10-1 mark. Given that they have little possibility this season of finishing with the worst record and the first overall choice in the next draft, the Texans are not in a rush to add up more victories. Houston’s offense hasn’t scored more than 17 points in six straight games and more than 23 points in five straight games.
The Cowboys, on the other hand, are coming in hot off three straight victories and a 19-54 thrashing of the Colts in their most recent game. With a 9-3 record, they occupy one of the wild cards in the NFC and are still in the hunt for the Eagles in the NFC East. Offensively, they have five straight games with at least 28 points, three of them with at least 40, while the defense continues to be one of the best in the league and during the three-game winning streak only conceded 42 points in total.
Prediction: Over.

Minnesota Vikings (-105) vs Detroit Lions (-115) / Sunday, December 7 / 1:00 PM E.T.
- Vikings Spread: +1.0
- Lions Spread: -1.0
- Over/Under: 53.5
Next weekend, we could be in for a great offensive showdown when the Vikings and Lions meet for the second time this year. In the first match, the slate ended in favor of Minnesota by 24-28.
The Vikings continue with their good season by adding two consecutive victories and positioning themselves as the second-best team in the National Conference with a 10-2 record. Minnesota has had some defensive problems throughout the season , allowing fewer than 20 points on only three occasions, but its offense and timely scoring have taken care of that problem by scoring 27 or more points in seven of its 12 games played.
The offensive performance the Lions have been putting on for the majority of the season has helped them win four of their last five games. In three of their last four games, they have scored at least 31 points, and if it weren’t for the fact that their defense, considered one of the worst in the league, picked up the pace very late, Detroit would be in a better position than their 5-7 record leads them to be in within the conference.
Prediction: Over.

Philadelphia Eagles (-300) vs New York Giants (+240) / Sunday, December 7 / 1:00 PM E.T.
- Eagles Spread: -7.0
- Giants Spread: +7.0
- Over/Under: 45.5
One of the most interesting duels next weekend will be the divisional showdown between the Eagles and the Giants, members of the spectacular NFC East.
Philadelphia is on track to secure the best record in the National Conference thanks to a streak of three consecutive victories that has them with a record of 11-1. From start to finish, the Eagles have dominated in every aspect of the game and under the guidance of Jalen Hurts they look like a serious contender to win the Super Bowl. The offense scored 75 points in their last two games, while only four times this year have they allowed more than 17 points to opponents.
On the Giants’ side of the ball, things haven’t been going so well lately, even though they hold one of the wild cards in the NFC. The New York team is coming off a tie against the Commanders and prior to that had three losses in four games played. The Giants’ problems on offense may be their downfall as they have only scored 20 points or more once in their last five games while allowing 27 points or more three times.
Prediction: Over.

Baltimore Ravens (+115) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (-135) / Sunday, December 7 / 1:00 PM E.T.
- Ravens Spread: +2.5
- Steelers Spread: -2.5
- Over/Under: 37.5
In another edition of the great AFC North rivalries this coming Sunday, the Ravens and Steelers will meet for the first time this season.
Baltimore is coming off an atypical 9-10 win over the Broncos, which helped them maintain their division lead by sharing an 8-4 record with the Bengals. However, for this game against the Steelers, the Ravens’ offense will be without Lamar Jackson, who left the game against Denver with a knee injury and is being evaluated on a week-to-week basis. Despite theoretically having the easiest schedule down the stretch, the loss of Jackson could be a major blow.
As for the Steelers, they put together a winning streak for the first time with two consecutive victories and have three wins in their last four games. Kenny Pickett’s improvement has been key in this awakening for Pittsburgh, which now has a 5-7 record. The young quarterback totaled no interceptions in that span of play, while the defense conceded 17 points or fewer in three of those four games.
Prediction: Under.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+150) vs Tennessee Titans (-185) / Sunday, December 7 / 1:00 PM E.T.
- Jaguars Spread: +3.5.
- Titans Spread: -3.5.
- Over/Under: 41.5.
In another NFL Week 14 matchup, the Jaguars and Titans will meet for the first time this season in an AFC South showdown.
Compared to past seasons, the Jacksonville team has shown some improvement under Doug Pederson, but still has some work to do to be a competitive team. For that reason, they have a 4-8 record, despite having wins over tough teams such as the Chargers, Raiders and Ravens. In the last seven games, the defense hasn’t allowed less than 20 points to an opponent, while in four of those seven games the offense hasn’t scored more than 17 points.
For their part, the Titans are coming off two tough losses to the Bengals and Eagles. These losses demonstrate once more that Tennessee doesn’t have the ability to defeat favorites in the postseason, despite the fact that they continue to comfortably lead the AFC South with a 7-4 record. Since they have only scored more than 19 points once in their last seven games, their primary issue is a lack of offense. Their defense had contributed to their victories, but when facing opponents with strong offenses, they need more points to gain the upper hand.
Prediction: Titans Spread.

Kansas City Chiefs (-450) vs Denver Broncos (+350) / Sunday, December 7 / 4:05 PM E.T.
- Chiefs Spread: -9.5
- Broncos Spread: +9.5
- Over/Under: 42.5
In another AFC West divisional matchup, the Chiefs and Broncos will meet for the first time this season.
Kansas City is coming off just their third loss after losing to their last season’s nemesis, the Bengals. With that loss, they gave up the best record in the American Conference; even though they had the same record as the Bills, they lose to them in the head-to-head matchup. The Chiefs also remain the best offense in the league, having scored less than 20 points only once. However, the defense remains a question mark.
As for the Broncos, they practically said goodbye to the season with their fourth consecutive loss. Denver is one of the biggest disappointments as they are last in the AFC West with a 3-9 record due to a poor offense led by Russell Wilson. Only twice did they score more than 21 points, and five times did they get 10 or fewer. Their strong defensive output, which is among the best in the league, doesn’t correlate with this performance.
Prediction: Chiefs spread.

Carolina Panthers (+155) vs Seattle Seahawks (-190) / Sunday, December 7 / 4:25 PM E.T.
- Panthers Spread: +3.5
- Seahawks Spread: -3.5
- Over/Under: 43.5
This coming Sunday sees the Panthers and Seahawks square off on the football field as these two teams battle it out for a spot in the postseason.
Incredibly, Carolina is still alive and kicking in the weak NFC South, where the leader is the Buccaneers with a 6-6 record. That’s why, thanks to their two wins in the last three games, the Panthers’ 4-8 record keeps them just two games behind Tampa Bay. From now on, their offense won’t be led by Baker Mayfield, as he was released on Monday. However, the strength of this team is its offense, which has only conceded 38 total points in the last three games played.
As for Seattle, they moved back into the postseason paint thanks to the Commanders’ tie and good win over the Rams. The Seahawks are 7-4 in the NFC West and rely on their offense to secure a spot in the next round. Geno Smith has been a great replacement for Russell Wilson in guiding one of the league’s best offenses, but the defense remains a concern for Pete Carroll and company.
Prediction: Seahawks to win.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+145) vs San Francisco 49ers (-175) / Sunday, December 7 / 4:25 PM E.T.
- Buccaneers Spread: +3.0
- 49ers Spread: -3.0
- Over/Under: 37.5
We’ll have a clash of National Conference titans next Sunday when the Buccaneers and 49ers square off in Week 14 action.
The Tampa Bay team is coming off an incredible win over the Saints to consolidate their position as leaders of the NFC South with a 6-6 record. Down 16-3 with less than six minutes left on the clock, Tom Brady led two offensive scoring drives to turn the game around and escape a painful defeat. The Bucs‘ offensive shortcomings—they have only scored more than 21 points in four games this year—remain a source of ongoing worry.
On the San Francisco side, the team remains the leader of the NFC West with a record of 8-4; however, they’ve lost their quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, for the rest of the season. This is the second QB injury for the 49ers this year, following the one suffered by Trey Lance. Likewise, the Bay Area has several outstanding offensive weapons and one of the best defenses in the circuit, which in the team’s five-game winning streak didn’t concede more than 17 points to an opponent.
Prediction: Under.

Miami Dolphins (-145) vs Los Angeles Chargers (+120) / Sunday, December 7 / 8:20 PM E.T.
- Dolphins Spread: -3.0
- Chargers Spread: +3.0
- Over/Under: 52.5
The Dolphins and Chargers’ NFL Sunday Night Football Week 14 clash promises to be an exciting one.
Miami saw a four-game winning streak snapped after falling to the excellent 49ers defense. In that span, the Dolphins scored at least 30 points in each of those games until San Francisco allowed just 17 to Tua Tagovailoa and company. With that loss, they dropped to 8-4 and into second place in the AFC East. Miami also has one of the league’s top offenses, but there are still some doubts about their defense.
Meanwhile, the Chargers are coming off a third loss in their last four games, which dropped them out of the postseason standings with a 6-6 record. Los Angeles’ season has been plagued by injuries and inconsistencies, something that is taking its toll in this final stretch of the season.
Prediction: Dolphins to win.

New England Patriots (-120) vs Arizona Cardinals (+100) / Monday, December 8 / 8:15 PM E.T.
- Patriots Spread: -1.5
- Cardinals Spread: +1.5
- Over/Under: 45
Week 14 of the NFL season comes to a close next Monday with Monday Night Football between the Patriots and Cardinals.
New England has put its postseason berth in jeopardy with back-to-back losses that leave them with a 6-6 record, one game behind the Jets for the final wild card spot in the AFC. The Vikings and Bills, teams who easily overcame Bill Belichick’s disciples, were unaffected by the Patriots’ strong defense. New England needs its defense to start playing well again, since its offense is below average for the conference.
For the Cardinals, the only thing left to accomplish is have a successful season’s end. With two straight losses, Arizona’s team has a 4-8 record and is outside the National Conference’s postseason spots. After two home losses, Kyler Murray and company are returning from their bye week, and they have a great chance to play better defense against New England. In four of their last six games, they have given up more than 30 points.
Prediction: Patriots to win.
