After a great Masters, the RBC Heritage 2023 brings us another tournament of great quality, as most of the golfers who participated in Augusta, will be in South Carolina in search of this title that distributes one of the largest purses of the PGA Tour. Despite not being a major, it is still a designated event and gives many points for the FedEx Cup and the level is high.

Just like at Augusta, not everyone can play at Harbour Town. It’s an invitation-only event, and you must be a champion of PGA events to earn a spot on the course.

Without further ado, at JefeBet, we’ll explain how the PGA tournament money will be distributed, We have already given you the favorites, and now we show you the RBC Heritage prize money distribution.

Additional Facts and Curiosities of RBC Heritage 2023

Prize money distribution for RBC Heritage 2023 PGA Tour April 13 - April 16, 2023
  • It began in 1969 and the winner was the legendary Arnold Palmer, and since then it was already one of the best paid events of the PGA. There was $100,000 in total prize money to be distributed, and the famous golfer in the red sweater took home $20,000.
  • The course record is held by Webb Simpson: In 2020 he shot a 262 for a -22, winning that year’s tournament by just one stroke ahead of Mexico’s Abraham Ancer, who will not be in this tournament because he is on the LIV tour.
  • The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, who curiously could only win this tournament once. It was in 1975 and on that occasion he shot a masterful -13 to win $40,000 as the champion.
