Next Saturday, July 30, UFC 277, to be held in Dallas, Texas, will feature a lineup that just by having the name of Amanda Nunes promises a lot of spectacles.

The Brazilian will be the highlight of the event when she tries to regain the throne lost last December against Julianna Peña. Prior to this fight, there will be a couple of bouts that will also generate a lot of interest due to the reward they will have with a victory.

Where and When to Watch UFC 277 Live Online

As usual, the UFC presented the lineup of events in their social networks as well as the schedule of events, remembering that in order to see them you need to pay a membership.

The mixed martial arts prelims will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Network. The main event will begin at 10 p.m., also Eastern time, on ESPN+ PPV.

Amanda Nunes Wants to Be the Queen Again

The UFC world went into shock last December when featherweight champion Amanda Nunes lost her bantamweight title to Mexican-American of Mexican and Venezuelan descent Julianna Pena.

For many, the loss signaled the downfall of the queen of the octagon and generational change within the circuit, something Nunes seems unwilling to accept after preparing hard for the UFC 277 headlining fight.

In her loss to Peña, the South American did not look slow and focused as usual, as she was more aggressive than usual and was unable to dominate the fight. Precisely that psychological blow will be fundamental in this new confrontation that will define the future of the queen of ultimate fighting.

Who Will Dethrone Deiveson Figueiredo at Flyweight?

In other UFC 277 headlining bouts, Mexico’s Brandon Moreno will seek his rematch against Deiveson Figueiredo by trying to defeat Kai Kara-France for the interim flyweight title.

With Figueiredo out of action due to injury, both Moreno and Kara-France will face each other in a fight that has the Latin American, who has previously defeated the Brazilian champion and who wants to regain his title in the category, as the overwhelming favorite.

For analysts, Moreno is much more complete as he has power in his punches and good footwork, while Kara-France is a fighter to watch out for because of his ability to knock down his opponents with ease.

Battle for Hope in the Light-Heavyweight Class

While the road is long, Magomed Ankalaev and Anthony Smith will battle it out this Saturday for a chance to compete against Jiri Prochazka for the light heavyweight title.

Why are the options for the winner remote? Because Prochazka’s first title defense will be against his last opponent Glover Teixeira, former champion Jan Blachowicz, or the winner of this fight at UFC 277 –an order that it seems will not be changed so easily.

For his part, Smith is not giving up hope that if he wins he can fight Prochazka, as he points out that for some reason the UFC has yet to schedule a title fight. We will see what happens after the fight, but what is certain is that the other two names are more media and sexy than Ankalaev or Smith.
