MLS Week 21 will be played this Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17. All 28 teams will be active, so we will be able to enjoy a total of 14 games.

With seven games on Saturday and seven games on Sunday, you may not have the chance to keep up with all the activity in MLS Week 21 so we’ll try to steer you toward the games we believe are the most important to watch this weekend.

The fight continues among the teams, and the Eastern Conference is currently the most competitive one, with three teams vying for the top position. In the Western Conference, there are two teams that have stood out from the rest thanks to their better performance.

Philadelphia Union vs. New England Revolution

Philadelphia Union has so far been the team with the fewest losses in MLS after playing 20 games. They won nine, tied nine and lost two. They are also coming off two straight wins, which have propelled them to first position in the Eastern Conference. To stay that way, they need to win another three points in this game.

They will face New England Revolution, a team that is going through a bad moment, as they have not been able to win in their last three games and lost by a score of 4-2 in the most recent one against New York City.

The favorite for this match is Philadelphia, due to the locale and their recent results.

This match will be played on Saturday, July 16 at 4:30 p.m. (Pacific time) at Subaru Park.

FC Dallas vs. Austin FC

FC Dallas remains in the top half of the Western Conference table, despite haven’t been able to win in six games. In 20 games, they have seven wins, seven draws and six defeats, and in their most recent match they lost 0-1 to New York City.

It will be a clash between Texan teams, as the visiting team will be Austin FC. Austin’s present is much better than that of its rival, as they are leading the Western Conference. In 20 games, they have won 12, drawn four and lost four, and are on a seven-game unbeaten streak.

Austin is a favorite despite being the visiting team, as they come in with four consecutive wins.

This match will be played on Saturday, July 16 at 6:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) at Toyota Stadium in Texas.

New York Red Bull vs. New York City FC

The New York derby between the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC will be played in Week 21 of the MLS season. The two teams are in direct competition for the top spots in the Eastern Conference, and here they will try to take off. The Red Bulls have not lost in three games, but are coming off a 1-1 draw with FC Cincinnati.

NYC FC is the team with the most wins in the Eastern Conference with 10 in 19 games played, and they come into this match with two consecutive victories and four unbeaten games.

The reigning MLS champions have a slight edge over their neighbors as the third-best offense so far this season.

This match will be played on Sunday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific time) at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.

Nashville SC vs. LAFC

Nashville have lacked consistency, but despite that, they are having a good season. They are coming off a 1-0 win over the Seattle Sounders, their eighth win of the season.

The opponent to beat is LAFC and it will not be easy as they need a win to reach the top of the Western Conference. They won 3-2 over the LA Galaxy in El Trafico and will be eager for this encounter.

On paper, Los Angeles is the favorite to win Week 21 of the MLS season.

This match will be played on Sunday, July 17 at 5:30 p.m. (Pacific time) at Geodis Park.
