Who’s going to stop Verstappen? That question is still left unanswered following yet another win by Red Bull star over the weekend at the British Grand Prix. Verstappen has now won six races in a row, dating back to his success at the 2023 Crypto.com Miami GP at the Miami International Autodrome. Overall this season, though, he’s got more, with eight wins in total. Verstappen is on his way to winning another F1 championship, which is his to lose. Apart from his raging momentum, Verstappen will feed off of the fact that he is the reigning and defending champion at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Sergio Perez (+1000 on DraftKings)
When it’s not Verstappen winning races, it’s his Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez, who is having success this season. That’s been the ongoing narrative so far this season as Perez is the only driver not named Max Verstappen who has won a race. Perez won the 2023 STC Saudi Arabian GP at Jeddah Street Circuit last March and the 2023 Azerbaijan GP at Baku City Circuit last April. He is coming off a sixth-place finish at the 2023 British Grand Prix, and he’s now cracked the top 10 in all of his last four starts.
Lewis Hamilton (+1400 on DraftKings)
The seven-time world champion is still seeking his first win since 2021. Nevertheless, he remains to be a threat, especially after having two podium finishes over his last three starts, including a third-place campaign at the 2023 British Grand Prix. His best performances to date this season were a pair of runner-up finishes at the 2023 Rolex Australian GP at Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit and at the 2023 AWS Spanish Grand Prix at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. It must also be said that Hamilton has eight Hungarian Grand Prix victories and 11 total podium finishes, including back-to-back runner-up showings in 2021 and 2022.

Lando Norris (+2000 on DraftKings)
Norris seems to be starting to heat up. After barely missing a podium finish at the 2023 Rolex Austrian Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring, Norris finished second at the 2023 British Grand Prix. It’s his first podium finish of the year and the first time he’s had consecutive top 5s this season.
George Russell (+2800 on DraftKings)
The Mercedes driver is coming off a fifth-place finish at the 2023 British Grand Prix, which was better than his seventh at the 2023 Rolex Austrian Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring a week earlier. Last year, he started from pole position and ended up third to get 15 points. Speaking of which, Russell has 82 points, so far this season. That’s good for the sixth spot in the standings heading to the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix.
Dark Horse
Valtteri Bottas (+70000 on DraftKings)
Bottas only has five points so far this season. Not much is expected of him at the upcoming event at Hungaroring, but let’s just say that he’s twice finished third at the Hungarian Grand Prix (2017 and 2020).

With the form he’s on, it’s just hard to look away from Verstappen. Until he shows signs of slowing down, he’s going to be a safe pick to win any race.
