Favorites
Max Verstappen (Odds -200)
First, we have the tremendously dominant Red Bull Racing driver: Max Verstappen. Red Bull’s first driver started the season in fantastic fashion by winning the Bahrain GP after winning his second Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship in 2022.
The Dutchman not only got the first victory of the year, but he also got Pole position. He is undoubtedly one of the best drivers in the competition at the moment and one of the most overwhelming in terms of results.
Sergio “Checo” Pérez (Odds +550)
In second place on our list, we have Checo Pérez. Red Bull Racing’s second driver and Verstappen’s teammate has already scored his first podium of the year by finishing second at the Bahrain GP.
Last year, he also took second place in the Drivers’ Championship and this season he wants to repeat his feat. We are talking about a tremendously aggressive and skilled defensive racer who makes it really difficult for other drivers to overtake him. Well, it’s no wonder his nickname is “The Minister of Defense.”
Charles Leclerc (Odds +700)
Ferrari’s first driver, Charles Leclerc, is our third favorite. Although he could not manage to see the checkered flag in the Bahrain GP, he is almost the only driver who is able to give the Red Bull drivers stiff competition.
The Monegasque took third place in Pole Position for this Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in last year’s Drivers’ Championship. To a large extent, his negative results do not depend on him, rather they are mostly concerned with the poor team’s decisions.
Sleeper Picks
Fernando Alonso (Odds +1000)
One of the surprises at the Bahrain GP was Fernando Alonso. The Aston Martin driver had an incredible performance after shining in the three practices prior to the final race. At the start of the race, he had a collision with his teammate, Lance Stroll, which caused him to lose some positions. However, the Asturian got back on track wonderfully and overtook Lewis Hamilton in fifth place to move up to third place. This makes him one of the best odds for the upcoming Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Carlos Sainz Jr. (Odds +1200)
On the other hand, Carlos Sainz Jr. had a good result in Bahrain. Scuderia Ferrari’s second driver came in fourth place, just behind his compatriot Fernando Alonso. This is a driver who managed to stay in the same position throughout the race, as he started in fourth place. He even won several races in 2022 and is undoubtedly a driver who can do a lot of damage.
Dark Horse
Lewis Hamilton (Odds +2200)
Finally, we have Mercedes-AMG’s first driver, the legendary Lewis Hamilton. This driver has seen a sudden fall in his results in the last couple of years due to changes in the characteristics of his car and, to top it all, Max Verstappen has got even more dominant and competitive.
However, last year he scored several podium finishes and is looking forward to another victory, hopefully at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

JefeBet Prediction
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will have many drivers with the podium in their sights; however, the driver with the best chance of emerging as the winner is Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman not only has the technology and car performance in his favor, but he also has Red Bull’s prone to putting his teammate Checo Pérez at his disposal to secure first place and defend the Drivers’ Championship title from the start of the season.
