And oh, by the way, he just won at Kansas Speedway last May when he grabbed the checkered flag in the 2023 AdventHealth 400.

Truex has not finished inside the top 15 in either of his last two starts. However, he’s been one of the biggest winners this season, with three victories and nine top 5s across 28 starts. Although he missed the playoffs, Elliott will be generating plenty of attention this weekend not just because of his name but also because he’s always been a strong performer at Kansas Speedway. In fact, he is second all-time with a 10.9 career average finish there. He’s also won at Kansas Speedway once before, having topped the 2018 iteration of the Hollywood Casino 400.
