Chase Elliott (+200)
The favorite driver to win this race is Chase Elliott, the fourth-place finisher. He races the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 number 9 for the Hendrick Motorsports team. This year, he was the NASCAR Cup Series regular season champion, and no he is looking to repeat the title he won in 2020, when he was overall champion.
With his 5th and 4th place results at Richmond and Watkins Glen, respectively, he clinched the championship one race before the end of it. However, his results in the playoffs have been good, except for the first race, the Southern 500, where an accident caused damage to his rear suspension.
Despite this, he placed 11th and 2nd in the next two races and took the 1st place at Talladega. This win qualified him for the round of 8 and tied his career record of 5 first-place finishes in a NASCAR Cup Series season.
In the last four NASCAR dates he has obtained not so high positions: 20, 21, 14, and 10. However, what gives him his position as a favorite is that this five-game winning streak was what won him the championship in 2020.
Christopher Bell (+250)
Christopher Bell is in second place in the standings, just behind Logano. His best result so far in the Cup Series was last year, when he finished 12th. Prior to this season, he had only one win, but this year he has surpassed all of his marks to reach the last 4.
Prior to the playoffs, he had achieved one 1st place and six top 5 positions, but going into the round of 16, he got the better of himself for three top 5s and two more wins. Unfortunately, in Las Vegas he was crashed by Kyle Larson, forcing him to finish 34th.
Joey Logano (+300)
Then, we have Joey Logano. He is the current leader in the driver standings and is especially known for being the youngest driver to drive in both the Cup Series and the Xfinity Series. He has had three wins this season: Darlington, Illinois, and Las Vegas.
His results have been fascinating, and it is no surprise that he is in first position. In total, he has had 10 positions within the top 5, 16 within the top 10, and 597 laps led. In the playoffs, he placed 4th, 17th, 27th, and 2nd in the first four races, which placed him in the top positions.
Over the last four races, he came in 18th at both Charlotte and Homestead, 1st at Las Vegas, and 6th at Martinsville. This gives him a great position to maintain and defend his lead.
Ross Chastain (+300)
Finally, we have Ross Chastain, the third qualifier for this race. This was the only driver in this group of 4 who did not get a win in the playoff round. Nevertheless, his results are not far behind the others.
During the regular season, he had two wins, ten top 5s, and eighteen top 10s, plus two more top 10s, and four top 5s during the playoffs. Along with Christopher Bell, this has been the most consistent runner since the round of 16. Only on three occasions did he come out of the top 10.

JefeBet Prediction
Now, having analyzed all this information, the driver with the best prospects to win the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Championship is Christopher Bell. He has been incredibly consistent and has had poor results only because of external accidents to his performance. Undoubtedly, he will give his best to be crowned champion for the first time.
