Noah Gragson (+190)
Noah Gragson is the top qualifier for this final NASCAR Xfinity Series race and has had an impressive streak throughout the year of 32 races he has started: he has won 8, more than any other challenger, has 20 top 5 finishes, 25 top 10s, and has an incredible record of 975 total laps led.
Undoubtedly, this first place is not for free, for it is the result of his great effort, as he also records a total 16 stage victories. He has 56 bonus points, and, if we take into account his playoff performance (two wins, three top 5, and one top 10), he will surely be the champion.
Ty Gibbs (+190)
Ty Gibbs is in second place right behind Gragson. This is a driver who is not too far behind the leader in terms of performance and results. During the regular season, he won five races: Alsco Uniforms 300, Nalley Cars 250, ToyotaCare 250, Henry 180, and New Holland 250.
However, as soon as the playoffs began, he proved more than ever how skilled and consistent he can be, earning just one place outside the top 5 (7th at Talladega), in addition to a win. This puts him in stiff competition with front-runner Gragson for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship.
Josh Berry (+350)
Third in the championship is Josh Berry, who, unlike his two other teammates in first and second place, has dropped out of the top 10 twice during the playoffs. His regular season was marked by two wins in Dover and Charlotte, which allowed him to qualify for the playoffs.
He then reached places 6, 5, and 8 in the playoffs to reach his last win of the season so far in Las Vegas. This first place finish secured his position in the Final 4 to compete this Saturday for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship. Although he has done excellently, he may not have enough to win the championship, which is backed up by his last two results: 11 and 20.
Justin Allgaier (+300)
Justin Allgaier –compared to Gragson, Gibbs, and Berry– has not scored any wins during the playoffs; however, he snatched the last spot in the standings from A. J. Allmendinger, who had two. Over the course of the regular season, he recorded three wins in Darlington, Nashville, and New Hampshire, which allowed him to compete in the playoffs.
In the playoffs he started off on the wrong foot, with a 29th place in the first race, then, little by little, he improved his performance and achieved positions 15, 5, 3, 10, and 5. It was this consistency that allowed him to overtake Allmendinger.
