Favorites
Kyle Busch (Quota +500)
For starters, we have the most recent winner of the NASCAR Cup Series Pala Casino 400, Kyle Busch. He looked incredible in California, where he started in 21st place and climbed to first place.
Undoubtedly the first victory of the season is an occasion that brings enough security and confidence to aim for victory in the next race. On the other hand, he earned a top 20 finish in the Daytona 500, which gives him eighth place in the Drivers’ Championship for the time being.
Kyle Larson (Odds +700)
Kyle Larson will be one of the runners who can do the most damage in this next Pennzoil 400 race. However, he has had a rather difficult start to the season.
In the Daytona 500 he came in 18th place and in the Pala Casino 400 in 29th place. Of course, this leaves him in a distant 24th position in the Drivers’ Championship, but one that he can easily move up from, as he was one of the best and most aggressive competitors in the playoffs last year.
Ross Chastain (Odds +800)
Although Ross Chastain has not won either of the two races that have been run so far, he is at the top of the Drivers’ Championship table for his consistency.
So far, he has placed 9th in the Daytona 500, where he won the first stage, and in the Pala Casino 400 he came in third place, in addition to being the driver who led the most laps in the race and the winner of the first stage. This is one of the favorites for the championship this year and for this Pennzoil 400 race.
Sleeper Picks
Joey Logano (Odds+900)
Joey Logano is another one of the safest options to bet on for this race, as he has had quite similar results to Chastain and won the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series.
In Daytona, he managed a second place without major difficulties, and in California, tenth place, which gives him 91 points, just one behind Chastain. Of these, he scored 19 through points earned in the different stages of the races.
Denny Hamlin (odds +1000)
On the other hand, Denny Hamlin is in ninth place in the Drivers’ Championship and has so far had better results than Christopher Bell, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, among others.
In the first official race of the season he came in 17th place, not bad at all, and in the second race in sixth place. These two results keep him among the top drivers who could win this incredible Pennzoil 400 race in Las Vegas.
Dark Horse
Christopher Bell (Odds +1100)
Finally, we have the young driver who has surprised NASCAR, Christopher Bell. This driver had a stellar start to the year with a third place finish in the Daytona 500, but his performance fell off when he finished lower than 30th in the Pala Casino 400.
For now, he is 15th in the championship, but he is a driver who can easily recover and who is known for having qualified for the playoffs last year and having maintained a high level and consistency.

JefeBet Prediction
The Pennzoil 400 will be a hard fought race in which only a few will have a chance to finish in the top positions and only one will be able to win.
Considering the results and consistency of the drivers in the first two races so far this season, Ross Chastain is the driver most likely to win the meeting, in addition to his experience and aggressiveness to compete and stay in the lead.
