The NASCAR company was founded by Bill France Sr. in 1948 and his son, Jim France, has been CEO since August 2018. Each year, NASCAR has more than 1,500 races at more than 100 tracks in 48 U.S. states, as well as in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

Best Mexican NASCAR drivers in history

Daniel Alejandro Suárez Garza is a Mexican professional racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Trackhouse Racing Team.

He previously drove in the NASCAR Toyota Series in Mexico for Telcel Racing, and in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for Rev Racing as a member of the Drive for Diversity program. Suárez previously competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series too, where he won the series championship in 2016 with Joe Gibbs Racing, becoming the first non-American to win a major NASCAR National Series championship.

Max Gutiérrez

Maximiliano Gutiérrez is a Mexican professional racing driver who competes part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 22 and No. 37 Chevrolet Silverados for AM Racing, part-time in the ARCA Menards Seriesdriving the No. 32 Chevrolet SS, and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series East, driving the No. 30 Ford Fusion for Rette Jones Racing.

Carlos Contreras

NASCAR's best Mexican drivers in history

Carlos Contreras is a Mexican professional stock car racing driver and crew chief. He was the first Mexican-born driver to compete full-time in any of NASCAR’s national series. He has competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

In total, he raced 110 races in the United States with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series. His best results were 30 first places, and 14 second places. Besides, in the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series he competed in a total of 76 races over 6 years and had 12 wins, 23 top 10s and 2 pole positions.
