Betting on the Oakland Athletics (+245)
The Athletics failed in its bid to stun Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium to open this series, as they suffered a 7-3 loss Tuesday. Now, they will hand the ball to Hogan Harris who will make another start later tonight. Harris has 12 appearances, including five starts this season. He is far from a reliable pitcher, considering that he just had an 8.00 ERA through 18 innings of work last June.
He had shown some promise in at least one appearance though, which was when he held the Tampa Bay Rays down to just an earned run in 7.0 innings of a 2-1 victory at home back in June. The Athletics have the worst offense today in the big leagues, but they might have some success against a wobbly Tony Gonsolin.

The Dodgers hope to get a better performance this time around from Gonsolin, who has allowed nine earned runs on nine hits and issued six walks in his last two starts, which spanned 10.0 innings. His recent appearances suggest that it’s hard to trust him at the moment, but Gonsolin can always feel confident about the offense behind him. The Dodgers have scored at least four runs in three of his last four starts, including the 11-5 win in Arlington against the Texas Rangers on July 21.
Speaking of LA’s offense, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman are some of the top Dodgers bets to light it up at the plate. They are a combined 13-for-30 with seven runs and four RBIs in the last five Dodgers games.
