Betting on the Los Angeles Dodgers (-115)
Gonsolin will look to have a great start to his second-half journey in the 2023 MLB regular season. He won his last start before the All-Star break despite allowing four earned runs on seven hits with five strikeouts in 6.2 innings of an 11-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels at home on July 7.
He’s struggled of late, but the break has given him enough rest and time to fix what’s needed to be addressed ahead of his start this Saturday versus the Mets. Gonsolin has a 1-2 record to go with a 3.14 ERA in six road starts this season. He is harder to hit when he’s away from Dodger Stadium, where he’s letting opponents bat .207. On the road, they are just hitting .190 against him.

Betting on the New York Mets (-105)
Unlike Gonsolin, Senga has been pretty solid of late for the Mets. In his most recent start, he surrendered just an earned run on four hits with 12 punchouts in 8.0 innings of a 2-1 win on the road against the National League West-leading Arizona Diamondbacks on July 5.
He has not allowed more than two earned runs in each of his last three starts. In addition, Senga carries a 3-2 record and a 2.64 ERA in eight home starts, so far in the 2023 MLB regular season. Of course, Senga is also hoping for the Mets to come up with some runs after getting shut out on Friday. Brandon Nimmo is batting .266 this season to lead all qualified New York hitters, while Francisco Lindor is batting .350 with three home runs and six RBIs in his last 10 games.
