This week has been a frustrating one so far for the Dodgers, but they can still finish it strong with a great performance in the City of Brotherly Love, beginning this Friday. Expected to make a start for the Dodgers in Game 1 of this series is righty Michael Grove.

The Dodgers are also coming off a 6-0 win against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday to snap a four-game losing skid.

Unlike the Dodgers, the Phillies are streaking. They have won all of their last five games. Philadelphia is coming off a sweep of the Detroit Tigers, capping that series off with a 3-2 win Thursday night. The Phillies won that series by a combined margin of 12-5.
The Phillies are batting .242 this season while averaging a robust 5.56 runs per game – top five in the big leagues. NickCastellanos has been smoking hot of late for Philly, as he’s batted .458 with two home runs and seven RBI in his last six games. Expected to start for Philadelphia is Ranger Suarez, who’s gone 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA in his last three starts.
