MLB All-Star Game Picks Odds MLB July 11 2023

The National League squad is loaded. That you can confidently say. After all, this is a collection of the best of the best in the NL during the first half of the 2023 MLB regular season. The National League’s offense features the likes of former NL MVP Freddie Freeman of the Los Angeles Dodgers. There is also Luis Arraez of the Miami Marlins. Freeman and Arraez are joined by Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves as well. Those three could carry the offense for the National League.

Arraez is a serious candidate to be the first player since 1953 to hit .400 in a season. Acuna, meanwhile, has already made history by becoming the first player in MLB history to reach at least 20 home runs, 50 RBI, and 40 stolen bases. Also starting for the NL are Sean Murphy (Braves), Nolan Arenado (St. Louis Cardinals), Orlando Arcia (Braves), Mookie Betts (Dodgers), Corbin Carroll (Arizona Diamondbacks), and JD Martinez (Dodgers). On the mound, the National League has a strong cast as well, featuring the likes of Spencer Strider (Braves), Mitch Keller (Pittsburgh Pirates), Zac Gallen (Diamondbacks), and Marcus Stroman (Chicago Cubs).

Betting on the American League (TBA)

MLB All-Star Game Picks Odds MLB July 11 2023

The roster of the American League is just as scintillating — if not more impressive — than the National League’s composition. However, elected starters Aaron Judge (New York Yankees) and Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels might not at all be available to play at the 2023 MLB All-Star Game.  At the time of this writing, both Judge and Trout are already on the injured list, so they are 100% not going to be able to see action this coming Tuesday. Ohtani is questionable at the time of this writing.

All that being said, there’s plenty of incredible offensive talent in the American League even without the aforementioned triumvirate. Randy Arozarena (Tampa Bay Rays), Marcus Semien (Texas Rangers), Corey Seager (Rangers), and Yandy Diaz (Rays) are bringing their power to the starting unit of the AL. But the reals strength of his squad could be found in its pitching with the likes of Gerrit Cole (New York Yankees), Framber Valdez (Houston Astros), and Luis Castillo (Seattle Mariners) spearheading the AL on the mound.  Castillo is very much familiar with the location of this event, given that it’s in Seattle. That is also a plus for another Mariners All-Star in George Kirby.

El Jefe’s Prediction on 2023 MLB All-Star Game

The American League is on a nine-game win streak in this matchup. The AL also leads the all-time series, 47-43. However, I’m going to take the National League to finally end their drought and win the 2023 edition of the Midsummer Classic. The NL, as mentioned, is loaded, especially on offense. Whereas the AL will be missing Judge and Trout, the NL has their absolute best stars ready to play.

Prediction:

The National League wins, 6-4.
