Betting on the Atlanta Hawks

A suspension could be given to Dejounte Murray for his actions following the Hawks’ 129-121 home loss in Game 5 to the Celtics. Murray bumped into an official, and he’s being investigated by the NBA as of this writing. If he gets a suspension, that will mean bigger trouble for Atlanta, which is just a loss away from packing their bags for an early vacation.
In any case, the Hawks might have to let others outside of Murray and Trae Young see increased attempts from the field. Murray (23 points) shot just 9/20 from the field in Game 4, while Young went 11/26 (35 points). De’Andre Hunter could be given extra shots after scoring 27 points on an efficient 11/27 shooting last Sunday. The Hawks’ defense has been forcing plenty of turnovers, but they just couldn’t consistently capitalize by efficiently converting those into points.
Betting on the Boston Celtics

The Celtics are simply finding it too easy to score against Atlanta. In their road win in Game 4, the Celtics shot 51.7 percent from the field, with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each scoring 31 points.
Tatum and Brown are averaging 28.5 and 23.3 points in the series, respectively, without forgetting to play tight defense on the other end of the floor. Boston turned the ball over 16 times in that game, but the Celtics did not let the Hawks do much with those errors. Boston limited the Hawks to only 43.9 percent shooting from the field. So far in the series, the Hawks are only making 45.1 percent of their shots from the field and just 33.8 percent from behind the arc.
