Betting on the Miami Heat

Heat vs Bucks Predictions Picks Odds NBA April 16 2023
  • Regular Season Record: 58-24

The Heat are still alive and in contention for an NBA title this season. With Jimmy Butler showing up in the clutch and Max Strus stepping up big time in a do-or-die scenario, the Heat were able to score a 102-91 home win on Friday against the Chicago Bulls to notch the last ticket in the East to the 2023 NBA Playoffs. Butler fired 31 points against the Bulls, while Strus also had 31 points with an incredible 7/12 shooting from behind the arc

But if the Heat are to overcome Milwaukee, they are going to need more on offense from Bam Adebayo, who only had eight points on a salty 1/9 shooting in the Chicago game. In any case, Adebayo’s defense was impactful versus the Bulls. The Heat went 2-2 against Milwaukee in the regular season, with Butler and Adebayo averaging 22.0 (53.4 FG%) and 19.5 (50 FG%) points in those games, respectively.

Betting on the Milwaukee Bucks

Timberwolves vs Nuggets Predictions Picks Odds NBA April 16 2023
  • Regular Season Record: 44-38

The Bucks can’t wait to play meaningful basketball. They lost their final two games of the regular season, but Milwaukee didn’t play most of their key players in those contests. This time around, the Bucks will be out in full force, with, of course, Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the charge.

Antetokounmpo averaged 31.1 points on 55.3 FG%, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game back in the regular season and he’ll be flanked by Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton in the wings. Holiday is a scary two-way threat who can deal just as much damage on defense as he can with his offense. With the Heat only having one day of rest between their last game and the series opener versus the Bucks on the road, fatigue could be an issue for Miami, which would be playing their third outing in just a week.

JefeBet Prediction

The Bucks take advantage of Miami’s tired legs to score a win and the 1-0 series lead.

Prediction: The Bucks win, 112-100.
