Once again, the Nuggets were too much for the Heat in Game 4, as Miami absorbed a 108-95 loss Friday night in South Beach. Now, the Heat are left to wonder whether they have already played their last home game of the 2022-23 NBA season.
Having said that, Miami is still alive and if the Heat can’t get things done at home, they could in Denver, considering that their only win so far in the series was made in Game 2 at Ball Arena. Hopefully for the Heat, both Gabe Vincent and Max Strus will recapture their shooting forms on Monday. They have been tossing bricks the last two games, but back in Game 2 in Denver, they combined for 37 points on 12/22 shooting from the floor, including eight 3-pointers.

The Nuggets have a golden opportunity to win their franchise’s first-ever NBA title this Monday, and they could do that at home. The tandem of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray has been astounding, and even in front of a loud Heat crowd the last two games down in Miami, the two managed to come up with spectacular performances.
In Game 4, Jokic posted 23 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists, while Murray only had 15 points but dished out 12 assists. They really did not have to do all that much because Denver’s supporting cast also played tremendously, particularly Aaron Gordon and Bruce Brown, who scored 27 and 21 points, respectively, with the latter coming off the bench. Denver truly looks it has complete control of the series and with a 3-1 series lead, the Nuggets have the NBA title virtually in the bag.

There is no answer for the Nuggets’ offense. This is a team that is built to win it all, and I’m expecting Denver to finish things off in Game 5 with another double-digit victory.
