For the second consecutive game, Jalen Brunson scored more than 30 points, finishing with 32, while Julius Randle continued his good performance by scoring 23 points. However, they could do little to prevent the loss to a Trail Blazers quintet that got 44 points from Jerami Grant.
Defense has been the problem for this New York team, as it allows 115.5 points per game, the seventh highest figure in the league,while under the ring it has not had much success either as opponents average nearly 50 rebounds per game against them, the second highest figure in the circuit.
If we add that to the fact that on offense they have the second worst percentage from long distance with just 31.6% and shoot for 45% from the field, the Knicks have a lot of work to do if they want to stay in the standings.
