Betting on the Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the best teams in the league this season, as currently they occupy the third place in the Western Conference standings and are just 2.0 games out of the top spot. However, they do not come to this game at their best since they lost their last two games: what’s odd is that, in the games, their offense was unable to produce as usual.
The most recent of these losses was at home to the Phoenix Suns by a score of 125-108. The game was practically defined during the second half, which the Suns won by a score of 42-27. Ja Morant was the best player of the Grizzlies once again by registering 34 points and 6 assists. However, he did not receive the support of his teammates, and Desmond Bane was the only one who was able to surpass the 10-point barrier.
The Grizzlies have not scored more than 110 points in four of their last five outings, which is strange considering they have one of the league’s best offenses averaging 115.2 points scored per game.
Betting on the Toronto Raptors
For their part, the Toronto Raptors are still desperately trying to find some stability in a campaign in which they have had many ups and downs. Plus, they are better and stronger when playing at home, where they have posted a decent record of 10 wins and 7 losses.
Notwithstanding, they have not been able to make their presence felt in front of their home crowd recently, as they lost their last four home games, including their most recent performance against the Los Angeles Clippers.In that game, the team was outplayed from start to finish in all respects and ended up losing by a score of 124-113. And, once again, Pascal Siakam was the team’s main offensive reference and managed to score 36 points.
The Raptors have had some good things going on defense by averaging 111.7 points allowed per game; however, they have left much to be desired offensively, as they boast of an average of 111.4 points scored per game, which barely improves at home to 112.9 points.
