Betting on the Minnesota Timberwolves
- Season Record: 19-21
The Minnesota Timberwolves managed to surprise last season after sneaking into the playoffs. If their goal is to attain the same thing this campaign, they should better start doing something about it, as they are in eleventh place in the Eastern Conference. Not making it to the postseason would be a failure, considering the great acquisitions they made.
It seems that that is the goal the Timberwolves have set for themselves for this 2023, as the team has won every game they have played this year, which were not against easy teams. They defeated the Nuggets (124-111), the Trail Blazers (113-106), and lastly, the Clippers (128-115).
The team’s great offensive production during that positive streak is a very good sign, and has helped Minnesota arrive to this game having the league’s third-best shooting percentage from the field at 49.2%. Although, they score only the 34.3% of their three-pointers.
Betting on the Houston Rockets

The rebuilding era continues in Houston, and the Rockets have been, once again, struggling since the beginning of the season. So much so, that the Texans currently have the worst record in the NBA. They have a 10-29 record and they are last in their conference, largely due to suffering a negative streak of six losses in a row.
Four of those losses were to conference opponents. The last game they lost was a crushing 131-114 loss against the Utah Jazz,with center Alperen Sengun being their most outstanding player. He made incredible effort, grabbing 14 rebounds, dishing out 3 assists, and also scoring a valuable 20 points.
The worst part is that the Rockets have not managed to showcase a single strength point in the campaign. They are second to last in average points scored in the league (109.4), last in field goal percentage (44.3%), second to last in average turnovers (16.1), and second to last in average points allowed per game (117.5).

We already mentioned that Houston’s offense isn’t exactly that of a top team, but they may have a chance to put it to good use against a Minnesota defense that allowed more than 110 points in two of their last three games. That same defense has also allowed an average of 119 points per game in their last four away appearances.
On top of that, the Rockets are a mess on defense, and both the Pelicans and the Jazz managed to do a lot of damage to the team recently. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Timberwolves continue moving forward against the worst team in the NBA.
