The Toronto Raptors had started the campaign in decent fashion, but their performance gradually dropped off. So now, even though they find themselves on a dreadful streak of six consecutive losses,the problems of other teams keep them 10th in the Eastern Conference, which is the last playoff spot.
The most recent defeat in that streak for the Canadian team took place last Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.Although they had a good performance despite being visitors, the locals ended up winning 101-104 in overtime, wasting Pascal Siakam’s great performance, who finished with 38 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists.
That game against the 76ers could be taken as an instance to illustrate what the Raptors’ campaign has been like, given that while they have been a solid team on defense, they have not been effective offensively, giving up an average of exactly 111.1 points scored and allowed per game.
