Betting on the Alabama Crimson Tide
- Regular Season Record: 18-2
Alabama did not let the Mississippi State Bulldogs escape Tuscaloosa with an upset win on Wednesday, as the Crimson Tide humbled their visitors in a 66-3 victory. Nate Oates’ team is still undefeated in the conference (8-0) and has now won nine games consecutively, a streak the Crimson Tide are aiming to extend when they visit the Sooners in Norman.
Alabama made only 36.8 percent of their shots from the field against Mississippi State, but still found a way to win, with Brandon Miller and Noah Clowney each scoring 13 points. The Crimson Tide should find it easier to score this time around versus a Sooners’ defense that has allowed more than 70 points in four of Oklahoma’s last five games. Alabama is 7-3 ATS in its 10 most recent contests.
Betting on the Oklahoma Sooners
- Regular Season Record: 11-9
Oklahoma is near the bottom of the Big 12 standings with just two wins against six losses in the conference. The season started with a dud for the Sooners, as they lost from the get-go to Sam Houston State, but they managed to win six games in a row after that.
Conference play has been a forgettable experience so far for Oklahoma, which has also lost all of its last three games. Oklahoma is averaging 96.8 points per 100 possessions adjusted in the Big 12 and allows 105.6 points per 100 possessions adjusted in conference play as well.
Grant Sherfield paces the Sooners with 16.4 points per game. He’s a lethal scorer who’s so dangerous from deep, as he’s shooting over 40% from downtown this season, thus far. Oklahoma is 3-3-1 ATS in its last seven home games.
