Betting on the Arizona State Sun Devils

The Sun Devils caught a big fish last Saturday, as they netted an 89-88 road win against the Arizona Wildcats in Tucson, thanks to a miraculous 60-foot buzzer-beating, game-winning 3-point heavy by Desmond Cambridge Jr. Even if they lost that one, the Sun Devils giving No. 7 Arizona all the business would give their morale a big boost ahead of the rematch against UCLA. What more now that Arizona got that win?
Cambridge and the Sun Devils went 11/28 from behind the arc against Arizona, and that’s the kind of shooting from deep they will look to duplicate this coming Thursday to loosen up UCLA’s defense.
The Sun Devils actually had a good outside-shooting performance in the first meeting with the Bruins back in January, but they just fell short in a 74-62 victory despite going 9/22 from deep. Arizona State is 3-3 against the spread in its last six outings.
