Betting on the Arizona Wildcats
- Regular Season Record: 18-3
Arizona notched its third win in a row and seventh overall in the Pac-12 when the Wildcats defeated the Washington State Cougars Thursday night, 63-58. Wildcats big man Azuolas Tubelis came through for his team with 18 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 9/16 from the field.
It’s the kind of performance Arizona has come to expect all the time from Tubelis, and the Wildcats can hope for another such showing from the center on Saturday.
For one, Tubelis had 18 points and 10 rebounds when Arizona beat the Huskies at home, 70-67, on Jan. 5. Another big man in Oumar Ballo punished Washington in that game, as he came up with 15 points and seven boards. They’re going to be headaches again for Washington’s defense which is among the worst in the Pac-12.
Arizona is 3-0 ATS in its last three games versus the Huskies as the road team.
Betting on the Washington Huskies
- Regular Season Record: 13-9
Washington handled its business Thursday, just like Arizona, as the Huskies beat the Arizona State Sun Devils at home, 69-66, via OT. Senior forward Keion Brooks smoked the Sun Devils for 22 points while also recording seven rebounds and three blocks.
In Brooks, the Huskies have a go-to guy who can also get the job done on the glass. Brooks and Cole Bajema each had 16 points in the first meeting with Arizona, and now they’re going to join forces again, this time at home. Washington is 3-0 SU in its last three games at home.
Washington also has won four of its last five games, with the only loss during that stretch coming at the hands of the Utah Utes on the road on Jan. 21.
JefeBet Prediction
Arizona’s proved more about its strength of late than the Huskies, with the Wildcats also beating USC and UCLA in some of the games that followed since they took down Washington in Tucson. Taking the Wildcats to win again over Washington.
Prediction: Arizona wins by at least five points.
