Betting on the Auburn Tigers

Auburn fell flat on its face last Saturday, as the Tigers were embarrassed big time in an 86-54 loss in Lexington to the Kentucky Wildcats. It was a forgettable outing for the Tigers, who shot just 33.9 percent from the field and went 7/21 from behind the arc.
Well, Auburn will have to move on from that debacle right away and turn its complete focus on Alabama, against which Auburn looked much better, albeit in a 77-69 home loss early in February. Auburn lost to the Crimson Tide by only eight points in that contest despite shooting just 32.3 FG% in large part because the Tigers’ aggressiveness was rewarded with a ton of chances at the foul line where they went 22/26.
Assuming they’d shoot better from the field and get lots of attempts from the charity stripe, the Tigers could pull off a surprising win in Tuscaloosa this coming Wednesday. Auburn is 2-1 ATS in its last three meetings with the Crimson Tide.

Alabama just keeps on winning games amid the controversy surrounding the team. Brandon Miller continues to deliver for the Crimson Tide and he did that again in their last game when he generated 24 points with six rebounds in Alabama’s 86-83 home win last Saturday over the tough Arkansas Razorbacks.
Miller has been in the zone of late, as he also put up 41 points in a recent victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks down in Columbus. But Alabama is hardly all about just Miller, as guys like Mark Sears, Noah Clowney, and Jaden Bradley are all major pieces as well of this Crimson Tide squad that is third in Division I basketball with an average of 83.3 points per game. Alabama is 6-4 ATS in its last 10 home games.
