Betting on the Gonzaga Bulldogs

The high-scoring Bulldogs are now on a three-game win streak. Gonzaga most recently victimized the Santa Clara Broncos at home last Thursday to the tune of an 88-70 score. The Bulldogs are also 2-1 ATS in their last three games.
Anton Watson led the way for Gonzaga in that game with 18 points while big man Drew Timme scored 15 points to go with 11 rebounds. Gonzaga doesn’t have plenty of experience, but Timme and Watson are the stabilizing figures for Mark Few’s team. Gonzaga is the No. 1 scoring team in Division I basketball with 84.9 points per game average and third overall with 120.4 points per 100 possessions adjusted.

Betting on the Saint Mary’s Gaels

The Gaels are owners of the best record in the WCC, as they remain unblemished in games this season versus their league-mates. They are 9-0 in conference play after thwarting the San Francisco Dons last Thursday at home, 68-59.
Saint Mary’s thrives this season mainly because of its defense which is among the best in Division I basketball. In fact, the Gaels are ranked fourth nationally with just 89.8 points allowed per 100 possessions adjusted. Their offense isn’t too shabby either, as they own an adjusted offensive efficiency of 113.2. If there’s one team in the WCC that can silence Gonzaga’s attack, it’s got to be Saint Mary’s, which boasts of 6-10 center Mitchell Saxen (4.5 BLK%) and 7-1 Harry Wessels (2.9 BLK%).
Saint Mary’s is 6-3-1 ATS in its last 10 games.
