Betting on the Indiana Hoosiers
- Regular Season Record: 19-9
After getting ambushed in East Lansing in an 80-65 road loss Tuesday to the Michigan State Wolverines, the Hoosiers will look to get back to their winning ways this coming Saturday versus a Boilermakers team that Indiana has taken care of once already this season. Indiana beat the Boilermakers at home earlier this month, 79-74, with Trayce Jackson-Davis playing like an unstoppable force on the floor.
Jackson-Davis erupted for 25 points with seven rebounds and five blocks in the win over Purdue, while combo guard Jalen Hood-Schifino had 15 points and four assists. Those two have the potential to be NBA stars in the future and it showed in that win against Purdue. Look for them to take over again for the Hoosiers, who are top 30 in the nation in both adjusted offensive efficiency and 3-point shooting percentage. Indiana is 5-5 ATS in its last 10 games.
Betting on the Purdue Boilermakers

Purdue, on the other hand, is coming off a win, as the Boilermakers embarrassed the Ohio State Buckeyes in an 82-55 home victory last Sunday. Big man Zach Edey had his way in that contest, scoring 26 points on 11/20 shooting with 11 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, Purdue shot 50% from the floor and went 7/16 from behind the arc for 43.8 3FG%.
Edey was also so effective in the first meeting with Indiana, as he racked up 33 points with 18 rebounds. A slow start doomed Purdue in the loss to the Hoosiers, but the Boilermakers should be able to make the right adjustments this time around, especially since they’re playing at hom. Purdue, which is 12th in Division I basketball with just 61.6 points allowed per game, is 4-0 ATS in its last four outings at home.
