Betting on the Kansas Jayhawks
- Regular Season Record: 18-4
Kansas is gaining momentum again after notching two wins in a row. The Jayhawks beat the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington last Saturday, 77-68, then return home to Lawrence where they evened things out between them and the Kansas State Wildcats with a 90-78 win on Tuesday.
Kansas’ win over Kansas State also snapped the Jayhawks’ three-game losing skid in Big 12 play. The Jayhawks’ offense is seemingly clicking again, as they’ve averaged 83.5 points in their last two games. When they beat the Cyclones at home earlier this month, 62-60, the Jayhawks leaned mostly on Gradey Dick and Jalen Wilson, who had 21 and 16 points, respectively.
Kansas is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games against the Cyclones.
Betting on the Iowa State Cyclones
- Regular Season Record: 15-6
Iowa State is moving in the opposite direction of the Jayhawks, as the Cyclones are now on a two-game losing skid. The Cyclones have also lost three of their last four games, including one last Saturday at the hands of the Missouri Tigers (78-61) and to the Texas Tech Red Raiders last Monday (80-77) – both at home.
The loss to the Red Raiders stings hard for Iowa State, especially since the Cyclones were up by as many as 23 points at one point in the contest. Iowa State will just have to shake that loss off and focus on the next meeting with the Jayhawks. The Cyclones are 6-3 against Big 12 teams this season and 5-2 in games versus teams in the AP’s Top 25 poll.
Iowa State is 3-1 ATS in its last four games at home.
JefeBet Prediction
The Jayhawks are seemingly back to their top form, and it might not matter at all that they will be playing as the road team in this upcoming rematch against the Cyclones. Expect a much more dominant Kansas team this time around. Taking Kansas to win.
Prediction: Kansas to win by at least 7 points.
