Texas battled back from a loss to the Iowa State Cyclones on Jan. 14 and has won two games in a row since. The Longhorns scored their sixth win in conference play and 17th of the season overall when by beating the Oklahoma State Cowboys at home on Tuesday, 89-75.
Their 6-2 conference record puts them in elite company in the Big 12. Texas’ offense has been special this season. Led by Marcus Carr (17.6 PPG), the Longhorns are averaging 80.5 points per game and 116.2 points per game on a 48.3 FG%. They’re also quite sturdy on defense, with opponents scoring just 66.8 points per outing. Texas has covered the spread in both of its last two games.
Betting on the Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee blew the Georgia Bulldogs out of the water on Wednesday, thus extending the Vols’ win streak to three games. The Bulldogs couldn’t do anything against the Volunteers’ defense, which is regarded as one of the best in Division I – if not the best in the entire nation.
Georgia recorded just a 32.7 eFG% versus the Vols and also turned the ball over 28.6% of the time. Tennessee is still behind the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC standings, but the Vols’ 7-1 SU record in the conference is good enough for second overall.
