The USA are having fun on the court in Manila. They have looked untouchable through two games in the first round. After clobbering New Zealand in a 99-72 victory, the Americans took down Greece on Monday, 109-81. They are performing at the level everyone expected them to play at. USA’s size, athleticism, speed, and just pure talent are seemingly too much for their rivals in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
The Americans are shooting 58.3 percent from the field and connecting on 42.5 percent of their 3-point attempts. They are having their way inside and out, as they’re also shooting 66.2 percent on their 2-point attempts. New Zealand and Greece are the top two biggest challengers to the United States in Group C play, which, in other words, means that they should be able to defeat Jordan even with their eyes closed, so to speak.
