So, on this occasion at JefeBet, we tell you who are the best Formula 1 Ferrari drivers of all time who have gone down in the Italian team’s history. Keep reading to find out who they are!

5. Kimi Räikkönen

Räikkönen’s appearance on this list may be somewhat controversial, but I immediately explain why the Finn should be among the Best Formula 1 Ferrari drivers of all time.

Although his time with Scuderia Ferrari was shorter than expected, he is one of only nine drivers to win a world championship with Ferrari: he did so in his first season in 2007, and defeated McLaren’s dynamic duo of Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.

Räikkönen could only achieve 10 victories with the Scuderia, but his hard-fought title will always be there for the true fans.

4. Juan Manuel Fangio

The Argentinean driver is one of the most legendary drivers of all time, with five world titles, one of which he won with the Italian team.

Although he only competed one year with the Scuderia, Fangio reached the podium in five out of the seven races in which he raced and won three of them, a number that earned him his fourth world championship and the third for the Italian team.

3. Alberto Ascari

Ascari won the race and later that year became Ferrari’s first Formula One world champion. Ferrari drivers have won the title on 15 occasions but not since Kimi Raikkonen in 2007. In the Ferrari flotation document, there is an acknowledgement that the team has declined in recent years. “As a result, we are enhancing our focus on Formula 1 activities with the goal of improving racing results and restoring our historical position as the premier racing team in Formula 1,” it said. The Italian is one of Ferrari’s iconic legends not only for being the first to win a world title for the team, but also because he is the only native Italian driver to do so within its ranks.

Ascari was unstoppable in the 1952 and 1953 seasons, when he won six out of eight races, and five out of nine the following year, and won both championships. In his veins always ran the blood of the “cavallino rampante” (the Prancing Horse) because, before the beginning of the world championships, in the 1940s, he was one of the drivers Enzo Ferrari loved the most and was one of the first to drive race cars for the team.

2. Niki Lauda

Until Schumacher’s appearance, the Austrian driver was considered the Italian team’s greatest exponent after winning two world championships and finishing second in one that almost cost him his life.

Lauda won his two titles in 1975 and 1977 to become, at that time, only the second Ferrari driver to win two championships with the team. However, his most memorable moment occurred in 1976, when he was leading the championship and suffered a serious accident that almost cost him his life. Incredibly, he came back to win three races and come within one point of the leader, James Hunt.

In 57 starts with Ferrari, he obtained 15 wins and 32 podiums.

1. Michael Schumacher

Who else could be in the first place of our best Formula 1 Ferrari drivers of all time ranking?

It is impossible to think of any other figure than Schumacher, who had an absolute domination of the circuit by winning 5 titles and 72 victories while wearing the red uniform for 10 seasons.

If you do some homework, when you talk about the Scuderia or Schumacher, one of the two immediately comes to mind. And how could we help it? Between 2000 and 2004, the German driver brought back to the team the glory that had been lost for more than two decades.

Schumacher’s start with Ferrari was tough, but the important thing was the end. The one that left him as the team’s number one after passing the checkered flag.
