Robeisy Ramirez is left-handed and, like all Cubans, is a disciple of a great boxing school with enormous experience at the amateur level, where he was a double Olympic medalist. His professional debut, in 2019, was not as expected, since he lost in four rounds with a knockdown included. However, he learned his lesson, because he was never defeated again.

Isaac Dogboe let a year go by, and came back little by little with four consecutive victories that put him in this new world championship opportunity, although at a higher weight. So, he has considerably less arm reach than the Cuban, but will draw on his greater professional experience to try to recapture the title.
