The last day of the regular round of the 2022-23 NFL season is already here, being this Browns vs Steelers one of the games we will be able to enjoy in this Week 18.
With the home side winning seven of the previous ten meetings between these teams, the Browns won the opening meeting of the season between these divisional rivals by a score of 17-29. However, this result did little to change the trend.

Betting on the Cleveland Browns
Although they have had their good moments, the Browns were unable to show a consistent performance that would lead them to fight for a playoff berth until the end of the regular campaign. Now, they are at the bottom of the AFC North and with the intention of at least finishing this year on the right foot.
After winning four of their past six games, including a 24-10 victory away from home against the Commanders, the Browns are riding an interesting wave of confidence. Deshaun Watson recorded only 169 yards, but threw 3 touchdown passes, while Nick Chubb completed 104 yards on the ground.
Despite their negative record, the Browns haven’t given up entirely bad numbers, averaging 21.7 points scored and 22.1 points allowed per game.Additionally, playing away from home may not change their plans for this game, given that they have won two of their last three games at home.
Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers come into this game at a crucial moment after having won five of their last six games, including the last three; however, that awakening seems to have come too late, since they no longer have any chance of even fighting for one of the Wild Cards in the American Conference.
The most recent of Pittsburgh’s victories came last week, on the road to the Baltimore Ravens, where they had a great reaction in the last quarter, winning 10-0 to come back and record a 16-13 victory.
That game was also the sixth in a row in which they have held their opponents to less than 20 points, something that speaks for a decent defense that averages 20.8 points allowed per game. However, their offensive problems have continued, and they come here averaging 17.5 points allowed per game.
JefeBet Prediction
The Browns are a balanced team in all aspects, but their offense tends to suffer a bit more when they go on the road. They will undoubtedly have a difficult time in this game against a local defense that is in excellent form and has recently even been able to stop teams with better offenses.
However, as mentioned above, the Steelers are a very limited team on offense, being the fourth worst in the league in that regard. Even at home, they average just 18.7 points scored per game.
Five of the Browns’ seven away games this campaign have covered the Under, while five of the Steelers’ seven home games have also done the same. Considering the offensive shortcomings of both teams, we expect these trends to continue and give us a low-scoring game.
Prediction: Under (CLE 13 – PIT 17).
