The Bears proved their mettle in Week 1 of this NFL preseason, as they were able to turn a 14-0 halftime deficit into a 14-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bears’ defense has always been considered their greatest strength and the team proved it in that encounter, limiting Kansas City’s offense to just 205 yards and a third-down efficiency of 43.7% (7 of 16). They also took down the opposing quarterback four times for a loss of 34 yards, but its offensive line did not provide the best protection, allowing his quarterback to be knocked down five times, which he will need to work on in the coming days.

While Lock’s performance was promising, lowering the number of points conceded would be good for Seattle.The Steelers had a total of 409 yards rushing against them in that past game, while the Seahawks’ offensive line allowed their quarterback to be picked off on three separate occasions.

While Seattle’s first game ended in a blowout and saw the team demonstrate weaknesses on defense, the Bears aren’t exactly the team that could exploit that weakness.
