A professional since 2014, Michal Oleksiejczuk (Polish) is a regular light heavyweight who in this case goes down to medium to face Cody Brundage. In his home country, he was a light heavyweight champion of the Thunderstrike Fight League organization in 2016.
He made his Ultimate Fight Championships debut the following year, and in the best possible way: he did it with a victory over Khalil Rountree Jr., but then he tested positive in the anti-doping control, and they changed the result to “no decision”. Thereafter, he participated in eight fights, of which he won five and lost the remaining three.
He is coming off an impressive showing against Sam Alvey (American), whom he defeated by technical knockout with punches in one round, last August, in the evening that featured Santos vs Hill in Las Vegas. At 27 years of age, he has a long way to go, but he must find consistency and add victories if he wants to be considered to fight for the title.
JefeBet Prediction
Oleksiejczuk is a light heavyweight by nature, so he will put his firepower over Brundage, hoping for a quick finish. If everything goes according to plan, the Pole will win the fight ahead of schedule.
Prediction: Oleksiejczuk wins by technical knockout.
