As if the nightmare were not enough, this Thursday they begin a four-game series against the Mets, one of the best teams in the Major Leagues in 2022, who will use Jacob deGrom as their starter for the opener.
In Las Vegas, Colorado’s chances for this matchup are minimal because not only will they have to face one of the Mets’ ace pitchers, but also their starter, Ryan Feltner, who has allowed five or more runs in two of his last three starts and on the road he has an efficiency of 6.26.

To get off to a good start this weekend, the Mets will have deGrom, who will be making his fifth start of the season and is 5-1 with a 1.17 ERA in 61.1 lifetime innings pitched against the Rockies.
