If you missed the Espy 2022, don’t worry, we’ll tell you all about it here. To begin with, the Espy Awards (short for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) are awards that highlight the best athletes and players of the season. The first edition was in 1993. Winners are chosen through voting by fans, commentators, journalists, sports executives, experts, or ESPN personalities.
In particular, the Espy Awards have an important charitable role that characterizes them in that a percentage of ticket sales are donated to the V Foundation, a foundation established by Jim Valvano to promote cancer research.
Now that you know about this award, here are the Espy 2022 winners.
