The Sun Devils gave up 465 total yards against the Utes, and their trip to Los Angeles does not seem promising.
The offense, theoretically Arizona State’s best facet, has not been oiled up either, failing to score more than 21 points in any of the last three games. They lost the ball over three times against Utah, and the only way they can harm the Trojans’ defense is if they have a solid running game, which they didn’t have last weekend when they only registered six yards.

Caleb Williams, the team’s quarterback, has even put his name among the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy by recording 1,054 yards and nine touchdown passes with no interceptions.
In terms of defensive performance, this has been above average but still questionable relative to what was expected of it. The ground defense hasn’t been very solid and that was one of the reasons why Oregon State came close to beating them last weekend.
