The number of games that have been played so far in the 2022 college football season might surprise us, but the truth is that as fans we are satisfied not only with the number but also with the performance we have seen from the participating teams.

Betting on the Michigan Wolverines
Michigan is one of the few undefeated teams remaining in this 2022 college football season, and along with Ohio State, they are the only unbeaten teams in the Big Ten (East) Conference. Their victories against Colorado State, Hawaii, and Connecticut are the most outstanding, as in those three games the Wolverines scored more than 50 points.
The team has the second most points scored (328) in their conference, but beyond that amazing record, their defensive prowess has also made itself felt by having only 92 points against, which is the fewest in the division.
Betting on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights
The Rutgers join Michigan in the Big Ten Conference (East), but their numbers are not as good as those of their upcoming opponent: they have only half as many wins in eight games, and come into this matchup coming off a 31-0 loss to Minnesota.
They started with a 22-21 win against Boston College and went on to win three consecutive games against Wagner (66-7) and Temple (16-14). However, their good results were left in the past, as after that positive streak came three straight losses to Iowa 27-10, Ohio State 49-10 and Nebraska 14-13. Their last victory was against Indiana by a score of 24-17, but at the moment there are pretty inconsistent.

Michigan’s great defensive work puts them as favorites in this matchup, as Rutgers’ offense doesn’t offer much of a threat either, at least not against higher level opponents. The difference in the quality of the teams is great, and the Wolverines are expected to win by a wide margin.
