However, the challenge ahead will be much tougher.
Miami represents the first top-25 AP-ranked team Middle Tennessee has faced this season, so this will be the matchup that will truly test their abilities on both offense and defense.

At the start of this Week 4, Miami plummeted from 13th to 25th in the NCAAF AP rankings after losing its most recent game, falling by just 17-9 against Texas A&M to end their season-opening two-game winning streak.
