Betting on the Baylor Bears
The Baylor Bears have alternated between easy and tough games at the beginning of the season and will once again have to face a great opponent in Iowa State. Their Week 3 matchup against Texas State resulted in an easy 42-7 win, bouncing back from a 26-20 loss to BYU in Week 2.
That last game saw them throw a total of six touchdowns, and they will need to keep that offense going against a team that has allowed 10 or fewer points in each of their games thus far.
Betting on the Iowa State
Iowa State comes into Week 4 undefeated through its first three games of the season, with the most recent being a 43-10 win over Ohio, and will now face what will be its first big test of the NCAA season.
So far, Iowa State has not faced a team ranked in the top 25 of the AP rankings this season. It remains to be seen if they can keep up the pace, although playing at home is where they have performed best so far, scoring an average of 42.5 points compared to just 10 when playing away.
JefeBet Prediction
Iowa State may not have lost so far, but the truth is they haven’t faced much in the way of ranked opponents in the early stages of their season, and Baylor will likely pose a much bigger challenge.
The Baylor Bears lost in their only away game to date, but that was in a game that had to be decided in overtime, and it was against another member of this season’s NCAA Top 25 like BYU, so they might be able to give a good performance despite being a visitor.
Prediction: Baylor Moneyline (BAY 24 – ISU 21)
