The Florida Gators have not been able to consolidate themselves in this 2022 college football season, as they have been presenting problems to achieve positive streaks. Despite having six wins after 11 games played, the team has never been able to win more than two games in a row.
Prior to this match they faced Vanderbilt, an opponent that on paper seemed easy to beat, as they were in last place in the Southeastern Conference (East), but that was not the case and they lost 31-24, once again cutting short their winning streak. Their main problems have been in defense, and they will have to pay attention if they want to defeat their next opponent.

Their offense has been steady and the same can be said for their defense, allowing only 198 points.
