After their first-week loss to Florida, the Utes have done nothing but win convincingly with good performances both on offense and defense.
Led by quarterback Cameron Rising, the Utah team ranks 11th in the nation in average points per game with 42. Rising has been important in this by totaling 1,153 yards with 13 touchdowns and only two interceptions in the first five games.
Defensively, things are much better for the Utes. After five weeks of action, they lead the Pac-12 Conference in total defense, are second in the nation defending the pass and allow just 11 yards per game. After conceding 29 points to Florida, no opponent has scored more than 16 points against Utah and two of them failed to score more than seven.

Records that will be put to the test against the solid defense of their opponents.
Defensively, the Bruins have also gotten the job done as they have only once allowed more than 100 yards on the ground this year and have 13 catches of opposing quarterbacks. However, on two occasions they have conceded more than 30 points including to Washington last week. Utah’s offense is much better, so they will have to play to perfection if they want to maintain their undefeated record.
