The Badgers come into this match a little calmer after returning to winning ways with a comfortable victory over New Mexico State, a much-needed balm before facing one of the candidates to win the national title.
While it looks very difficult for Wisconsin to come away with a win over Ohio, the Badgers are not expected to be crushed by the Buckeyes. Excluding the 14-17 loss to Washington State, their offense recorded 104 points in the other two games. Of course, their archrival’s defense is one of the best in the nation, but last weekend they recorded 595 yards. Not just anyone can do that.
Wisconsin has also shown that it is capable of defending. Against a very good Washington State team they only allowed 17 points, overall they have only conceded 24 points and only one touchdown. Notre Dame allowed 21 points to Ohio State and Wisconsin’s offense is much better than that of the Fighting Irish.

As the weeks go by, Ohio State’s national championship aspirations continue to grow and this weekend they will have their toughest test of the year when they take on Wisconsin.
The Badgers’ defense is the best they have faced so far and will have to prove that what they did last weekend against Toledo is more than a fluke. The Buckeyes’ offense registered no less than 763 yards, 482 of them through the air, and 11 touchdowns. A true offensive gale that they need to display this Saturday in front of their fans.
The defensive side remains the big question mark for the Buckeyes when they reach elite commitments and against Wisconsin will be a good test. The key will be leading the Badgers to force turnovers, a problem they’ve had in the first three weeks and Ohio State knows how to exploit very well.
