Predictions, Odds and Betting Previews for All 2022 NFL Week 15 Games

San Francisco 49ers (-190) vs Seattle Seahawks (+155) / Thursday, December 15 / 8:15 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • 49ers Spread: -3.5.
  • Seahawks Spread: -+3.5.
  • Over/Under: 43.5

The NFC West divisional matchup between the 49ers and Seahawks will start Week 15 as part of the NFL’s stellar Thursday Night Football .

San Francisco is coming off its sixth consecutive win by defeating the Buccaneers 7-35 and currently leads the division with a 9-4 record. Rookie Brock Purdy has efficiently taken over an offense that has scored 30-plus points in four of its last six games, while the defense continues to rank in the top-3 in the circuit: it has not given up more than 17 points in any of its last six games, with three of those being 10 points or fewer.

On Seattle’s side, things got complicated on Sunday with their third loss in the last four games. The Seahawks dropped out of their postseason place with a 30-24 loss to the Panthers to fall to a 7-6 record. Their defense, which ranks second in the league in terms of points allowed, continues to be their biggest issue, and despite having one of the most productive offenses, they have lost at least one fumble in each game this year.

Prediction: Over.

Indianapolis Colts (+185) vs Minnesota Vikings (-225) / Saturday, December 17 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Colts Spread: +4.0.
  • Vikings Spread: -4.0.
  • Over/Under: 47.5

In a game between two different conferences on Saturday, the Colts and Vikings will resume regular-season NFL play.

Indianapolis has a slim chance of making the playoffs after losing six of their previous seven games and three in a row, giving them a record of 4-8-1. Following their humiliation by the Cowboys by a score of 19 to 54, the Colts had a bye week. They have failed to score more than 19 points in six of their previous seven contests, while their solid defense has only allowed marginally more than 27 points for the first time this year.

As for Minnesota, they are coming off a 23-34 loss to the Lions, and while their lead in the NFC North doesn’t appear to be in jeopardy at 10-3, catching the Eagles, who have the best record in the National Conference, no longer seems viable. The Vikings’ inconsistent defense allowed more than 30 points for the third time in the last five games, while the offense totaled just 22 yards on the ground against one of the league’s worst ground defenses.

Prediction: Vikings Spread.

Baltimore Ravens (+125) vs Cleveland Browns (-150) / Saturday, December 17 / 4:30 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Ravens Spread: +2.5.
  • Browns Spread: -2.5.
  • Over/Under: 37.5.

In the second game of next Saturday’s tripleheader, the Ravens and Browns will face off in an AFC North divisional matchup.

Baltimore has won two straight games to maintain its 9-4 record as the division leader. This weekend, though, they will likely have to attack without their two starting quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, since one of them has a knee injury and the other is in concussion protocol, which presents a severe concern. In this way, defensive-minded Anthony Brown is expected to make his first start for an offense that has won its last three games while scoring no more than 16 points and with the defense allowing no more than 14 points.

Cleveland buried its postseason aspirations last weekend with a 10-23 loss to the Bengals to drop its record to 5-8. Deshaun Watson has failed to make a difference in his first two games as a starter, as the Browns scored their fewest points all season. The defense did a good job of holding the powerful Cincinnati offense to 23 points, so an upset against Baltimore would not be surprising.

Prediction: Under.

Miami Dolphins (+280) vs Buffalo Bills (-375) / Saturday, December 17 / 8:15 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Dolphins Spread: +7.5.
  • Bills Spread: -7.5.
  • Over/Under: 42.5

Saturday’s tripleheader brings the curtain down on a stellar divisional matchup between the Dolphins and Bills, which is expected to be played in a less-than-welcoming atmosphere at chilly Orchard Park.

Miami is not at its best after losing two consecutive games and pulling away from the Bills at the top of the AFC East with a record of 8-5. Despite holding on to the second wild card spot in the conference, the Dolphins’ high-powered offensive failed to score more than 17 points in losses to the 49ers and Chargers. In the first game against the Bills they won 19-21, but with one of the worst on-the-road defenses, the offense will have to answer if they don’t want the game to end early.

Buffalo, on the other hand, comes into the game with four consecutive victories and the opportunity to seal the division lead with a 10-3 record. Due to his strong play as the quarterback of an offense that has scored more than 20 points in five straight games, Josh Allen is one of the contenders for the MVP of the campaign. Meanwhile, the defense has returned to its old ways and in the last two victories only conceded 22 points total.

Prediction: Over.

Atlanta Falcons (+165) vs New Orleans Saints (-200) / Sunday, December 18 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Falcons Spread: +4.0.
  • Saints Spread: -4.0.
  • Over/Under: 43.5

The Falcons and the Saints are all in limbo in the NFC South with four games remaining in the regular season; for this reason, they will be facing each other this weekend for the last chance to make the playoffs.

The Buccaneers’ losing run (currently lead in the division at 6-7) keeps an Atlanta team with a 5-8 record alive after two straight defeats and a game versus Tampa Bay remaining. The offense has performed poorly after being limited to 16 points against the Commanders and Steelers, but the defense has played its best defense of the season after allowing just 19 points to opponents in the last two games.

New Orleans has things a little more complicated as it has a 4-9 record after losing four of its last five games and dropping both of its campaign meetings with the Buccaneers. In recent weeks, the Saints offense has been a disaster , failing to score more than 16 points in four of five games, including a shutout by the 49ers. The defense continued to respond during that time, only allowing more than 20 points once.

Prediction: Under.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+110) vs Carolina Panthers (-135) / Sunday, December 18 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Steelers Spread: +2.0.
  • Panthers Spread: -2.0.
  • Over/Under: 38.5.

The Steelers and Panthers will square off in one more of the NFL Week 15 interconference games. Both of these teams have very bad records.

Pittsburgh snapped a streak of two consecutive wins after a tough 16-14 home loss to the Ravens, which left them with a 5-8 record. In addition to the departure of their quarterback, Kenny Pickett, due to concussion protocol, the Steelers’ offense went back to its old ways, losing the ball three times and for the first time in five weeks failing to surpass 100 rushing yards. Their defense allowed 17 points or less for the fourth time in the last five games.

Carolina’s postseason hopes remain more alive than ever after picking up their second straight win with a 30-24 victory at home over the Seahawks. The Panthers now have a 5-8 record and are just one game behind the Buccaneers, a team they already beat this year and against whom they’ll play again in Week 17. For the second time this season, they scored more than 30 points, while their defense had allowed only 38 total points in the three games prior to the Seattle game.

Prediction: Panthers Spread.

Philadelphia Eagles (-400) vs Chicago Bears (+320) / Sunday, December 18 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Eagles Spread: -9.0.
  • Bears Spread: +9.0.
  • Over/Under: 48.5

The greatest team in the league, the Eagles, will play the worst team in the NFC, the Bears, in one of the games set for NFL Week 15.

Philadelphia has won four games in a row to move to 12-1 and become the first team to qualify for the postseason as the leader of the NFC East. Led by QB Jalen Hurts, in their last three wins the Eagles have scored more than 30 points, including a 48-22 win over the Giants last weekend. Defensively they are also in the top five in the league, and in their last eight games only the Packers have totaled more than 200 passing yards against them.

Chicago, meanwhile, is coming off a bye week after six consecutive losses that have them with the worst record in the entire National Conference at 3-10. Although three of those losses happened by three points or fewer, the good offensive display led by young Justin Fields has been insufficient to cover up the shortcomings of a defense that in the string of defeats hasn’t allowed less than 28 points to any opponent.

Prediction: Over.

Kansas City Chiefs (-800) vs Houston Texans (+550) / Sunday, December 18 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Chiefs Spread: -14.0.
  • Texans Spread: +14.0.
  • Over/Under: 48.5

The Chiefs and Texans will be one of several very different matchups in terms of team performance on Sunday.

With a win in Houston, the Kansas City organization could secure its seventh consecutive AFC West title by posting a 10-3 record. The Chiefs are also battling with the Bills for the best record in the American Conference, so playing the worst team in the league bodes well for them. Having Patrick Mahomes and an offense that has only once scored fewer than 20 points is obviously their insurance for this game.

The Texans nearly pulled off the upset last week after losing on the final offensive series on the road to the Cowboys in a game that ended 24-27. Houston hasn’t won in eight games, and against Dallas they scored more than 20 points for the first time in their losing streak. On the defensive side, they also expect a lot of turbulence against the best offense in the circuit after allowing 27 points or more in five of those losses.

Prediction: Chiefs spread.

Dallas Cowboys (-250) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (+200) / Sunday, December 18 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Cowboys Spread: -5.5.
  • Jaguars Spread: +5.5.
  • Over/Under: 48.5

The Cowboys and Jaguars will square off in another interconference matchup after each club won its respective game the previous week.

With their fourth consecutive win, the Dallas team has a 10-3 record and remains in the fight not only to catch the Eagles at the top of the NFC East, but also for the best record in the conference. The Cowboys were almost shocked at home by the Texans, but with their sixth straight game with at least 27 points scored, they managed to come out on top. This performance was always backed up by the work of one of the best defenses in the league, which has not allowed more than 23 points in four consecutive games.

Given that Jacksonville has won three of its previous five games and is only two games behind the Titans in the race for first place in the AFC South, the game is also crucial for them. A victory over the formidable Cowboys is a matter of life or death for the Jaguars, who just defeated Tennessee 36-22 and will host them for their final home game of the year.

Prediction: Over.

Detroit Lions (-110) vs New York Jets (-110) / Sunday, December 18 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Lions Spread: +1.0.
  • Jets Spread: -1.0.
  • Over/Under: 44.5.

The NFL’s Week 15 has scheduled several crucial games that will determine postseason places, and the matchup between the Lions and Jets is one of them.

With five wins in their last six games, the Detroit team has jumped deep into the fight for the last NFC wild card with their 6-7 record. The Lions are coming off a 23-34 win over the Vikings and have scored at least 31 points in four of their last six games. However, the key has been their great improvement defensively, which in three of those games allowed less than 20 points despite being one of the worst in the league.

As for the Jets, three losses in the last four games, including last week’s 12-20 loss to the Bills, have knocked them out of the AFC Wild Card spots despite their 7-6 record. While New York’s defense is one of the most solid in the league, offensively they have struggled throughout the campaign and in two of those last four games they have failed to score more than 12 points.

Prediction: Over.

Arizona Cardinals (-110) vs Denver Broncos (-110) / Sunday, December 18 / 4:05 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Cardinals Spread: +1.0.
  • Broncos Spread: -1.0.
  • Over/Under: 38.5.

A team that is almost eliminated and another that is officially out of the competition will face each other this Sunday afternoon when the Cardinals and Broncos take the field.

Despite coming off their bye week, the Arizona team could not avoid falling for the third consecutive time after being outscored 27-13 by the Patriots. The Cardinals thus share the bottom of the NFC West with the Rams by having a 4-9 record and worst of all, their star QB Kyler Murray may have suffered torn cruciate ligaments in his knee, which will keep him out for part of the next campaign.

Last week, the Broncos were eliminated from any chance of a postseason spotwith a 34-28 loss to the Chiefs, their fifth consecutive defeat, and a 3-10 record. Despite scoring their most points in a game, the Broncos defense also conceded the most points and the team may be without Russell Wilson, who is in concussion protocol.

Prediction: Under.

New England Patriots (-110) vs Las Vegas Raiders (-110) / Sunday, December 18 / 4:05 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Patriots Spread: +1.0.
  • Raiders Spread: -1.0.
  • Over/Under: 44.5.

The Patriots vs Raiders matchup is one of the excellent games that the NFL Week 15 calendar has in store for us.

With its victory over the Cardinals on Monday night, New England not only snapped a losing streak of two games in a row, but also secured the final AFC wild card spot with a 7-6 record. The Patriots’ defense once again shone in the Arizona desert despite their ongoing offensive issues, recovering two fumbles and adding six QB sacks before facing a difficult end of the season full of difficult matchups.

Las Vegas buried its postseason aspirations after losing 16-17 to the Rams on the final offensive series of the game to fall to a 5-8 record. Just when it looked like the Raiders would jump right into the fight for the AFC’s last wild card with three straight wins, they once again failed to hold the lead against one of the league’s worst offenses. That said, the 16 points scored was the second-lowest amount after the shutout against the Saints.

Tennessee Titans (+135) vs Los Angeles Chargers (-165) / Sunday, December 18 / 4:25 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Titans Spread: +3.0.
  • Spread Chargers: -3.0.
  • Over/Under: 46.

In a possible future postseason matchup, the Titans and Chargers will face off this coming Sunday in another one of the many stellar games of NFL Week 15.

With three straight defeats, Tennessee has jeopardized its AFC South lead and is now only two games ahead of the Jaguars with a 7-6 record. Their most recent defeat came at the hands of Jacksonville, 36-22, and their defensive issues, which have been their main strength all season, are just getting worse. The opposition has scored at least 35 points in each of the last two games, after giving up 20 points or fewer in 10 of their first 11. Additionally, they have failed to score more than 20 points in six of the previous eight games.

For their part, the Chargers, with two wins in their last three games, remain in the fight for the postseason and with a 7-6 record are tied with the Patriots for the last wild card spot in the AFC, but just missing out on the divisional record. Without scoring many points, Los Angeles has found a way to win games under Justin Herbert and after the game against the Titans, the remaining schedule is on paper quite accessible: they’ll visit the Colts, host the Rams and close in Denver.

Prediction: Under.

Cincinnati Bengals (-190) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+155) / Sunday, December 18 / 4:25 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Bengals Spread: -3.5.
  • Buccaneers Spread: +3.5.
  • Over/Under: 44

Next Sunday’s daytime schedule closes with a stellar matchup: Bengals vs Buccaneers.

Cincinnati is looking to defend its American Conference championship title with all its might and with five straight wins, most recently a 10-23 victory over the Browns, it is well on its way. With a 9-4 record, they share the lead in the AFC North with the Ravens, a team they must face once again and which has serious offensive problems due to the absence of their two main quarterbacks. This is undoubtedly a great incentive to continue with their great offensive and defensive display of the last few weeks against a team that is going through a bad moment.

While the Buccaneers lead the NFC South, their 6-7 record is the worst for any divisional leader, and both the Panthers and Falcons are one game away from matching them at the top. Tom Brady and company have lost two of their last three games, and their offensive problems continue to rack up after falling 7-35 to the 49ers. The worrying thing about this loss, beyond the lack of offense, is that their defense, the team’s strength, was crushed by San Francisco.

Prediction: Bengals to win.

New York Giants (+180) vs Washington Commanders (-225) / Sunday, December 18 / 8:20 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Giants Spread: +4.5.
  • Commanders Spread: -4.5.
  • Over/Under: 40.5

The Sunday Night Football matchup between the Giants vs Commanders, who share the NFC’s final wild card and are coming off a 20-point tie two weeks ago, is one of the NFL’s week 15’s standout contests.

After a 7-2 start, New York has suffered three losses and a tie versus Washington in their last four games, a terrible showing that has them on the edge of dropping out of the postseason berths. The Eagles destroyed the Giants with a 48-22 record, and only once in their previous four games—against the Commanders—did they concede less than 28 points. This is concerning for a squad that ranks among the league’s lowest scorers.

Washington, however, is coming off a bye week and has played eight games since then with six victories, one tie, and one defeat. As a result, they were able to put their sluggish campaign start behind them and launch into the competition for an NFC wild card. The pivotal moment for this club was when Taylor Heinicke replaced Carson Wentz as the starter at quarterback. This transition gave the offense new life to support a defense that only twice this season allowed more than 22 points.

Prediction: Commanders to win.

[Giants vs Commanders NFL Week 15 full betting preview here]

Los Angeles Rams (+275) vs Green Bay Packers (-380) / Monday, December 19 / 8:20 PM E.T.

NFL Week 15
  • Rams Spread: +8.0.
  • Packers Spread: -8.0.
  • Over/Under: 39.5.

The Rams and Packers, two teams that were expected to make the playoffs but are now all but out, will square up on Monday Night Football in Week 15.

Los Angeles halted a streak of six consecutive losses thanks to a strong performance by new quarterback Baker Mayfield, who led them to a 16-17 comeback win over the Raiders. With a 4-9 record, the Rams are at the bottom of the NFC West, and while they are not officially eliminated, they have already signed the worst start in history for a defending champion.

As for the Packers, the situation is not much different. Despite winning their last game against the Bears before enjoying their bye week, Green Bay has a 5-8 record and is two and a half games out of the conference wild card spots. Aaron Rodgers has had a lot of trouble guiding the offense, but the defense hasn’t gotten the job done either, conceding fewer than 23 points just four times during the season.

Prediction: Rams Spread.
