Predictions for all 2022 NFL Week 7 Games

New Orleans Saints (+100) vs Arizona Cardinals (-120) / Thursday, October 20 / 8:15 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 predictions odds betting preview 2022 season
  • Saints Spread: +1.5.
  • Cardinals Spread: -1.5.
  • Over/Under: 45

NFL Week 7 kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between two teams in dire need of wins: the Saints and the Cardinals.

The New Orleans team squandered a nine-point lead by scoring only six points in the second half and failing to manage the clock in their favor. Without Jameis Winston and their three starting receivers, the Saints’ offense remained inconsistent, while the defense, which has also struggled, must take advantage of the fact that they have been able to effectively defend opposing ground attacks to face Kyler Murray this time.

The Cardinals’ quarterback is certainly is in debt this season. He threw an interception for the third time in three games, and Arizona could only muster nine points against one of the league’s weakest defenses, the Seahawks. Although the Arizona team got the job done once more by stopping their opponents, for the third time this season the offense failed to surpass 17 points scored.

Cleveland Browns (+225) vs Baltimore Ravens (-278) / Sunday, October 23 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Browns Spread: +6.5.
  • Ravens Spread: -6.5.
  • Over/Under: 46.5

Only one game separates the Browns and Ravens in an AFC North where Baltimore and the division-leading Bengals are barely playing for .500.

The Cleveland team fell to a 2-4 record after losing for the third consecutive week when they were outgained at home by the Patriots. For the first time this year, the Browns failed to score more than 20 touchdowns as they were held to 15 by New England. The key to the loss was that each of Cleveland’s four turnovers ended in points for their opponents.

For their part, the Ravens fell short in their visit to the Giants, conceding a TD with 1:41 remaining in the game and leading to a 20-24 loss. The key to the fiasco was Lamar Jackson’s sixth interception this season, which allowed New York to have the ball with just over 3:30 left on the game clock. The defense allowed just 283 total yards, but they were unable to stop that last offensive series.

Prediction: Over.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-556) vs Carolina Panthers (+400) / Sunday, October 23 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Buccaneers Spread: -11.
  • Panthers Spread: +11.
  • Over/Under: 40.5

NFL Week 7 brings us a divisional duel between the Buccaneers and Panthers, two NFC South teams that are coming off losses in their respective games.

Despite holding the group lead with a 3-3 record, Tom Brady and Tampa Bay continue to leave many doubts after falling to the Steelers 18-20 on Sunday. The Bucs’ offense could only muster 304 total yards against a Pittsburgh defense that was coming off of allowing 552 yards and 38 points to the Bills. As for their own defense, for the second time this season the team allowed at least 20 goals and this came at the hands of an offense that averages just 16.6 points per game.

For their part, the Panthers are still in free fall after losing 10-24 to the Rams and dropping their record to 1-5. The Carolina team continues to have trouble scoring, and for the fourth time this season they failed to score more than 16 points in a game. They barely topped 200 total yards (203), while the defense allowed 24 points or more for the fourth time.

Prediction: Under.

Atlanta Falcons (+200) vs Cincinnati Bengals (-250) / Sunday, October 23 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Falcons Spread: +6.0.
  • Bengals Spread -6.0.
  • Over/Under: 47.5

Having won last Sunday, both Falcons and Bengals share the lead in their respective divisions at 3-3.

Atlanta is one of the pleasant surprises of the season and over the weekend they surprised everyone again by defeating the 49ers, one of the best defenses in the circuit, 14-28. QB Marcus Mariota needed just 129 yards through the air to score his second two-TD game this season and another on the ground. As for the defense, it dressed up for San Francisco by intercepting Jimmy-G twice, while returning a recovered fumble to the end zone.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati bounced back from their loss to the Ravens and came from behind to beat the Saints 30-26. Joe Burrow had his best performance of 2022 by totaling 300 yards with three TDs through the air and one on the ground, while the defense, after conceding 20 points in the first half, allowed only six scores in the second half to allow the QB to get back on the scoreboard,

Prediction: Over.

Detroit Lions (+240) vs Dallas Cowboys (-303) / Sunday, October 23 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Lions Spread: +7.0.
  • Falcons Spread: -7.0.
  • Over/Under: 48 Points

After enjoying their bye week, the Lions return to the gridiron to pay a visit to some tough Cowboys.

Despite having one of the best offenses on the circuit, Detroit went on vacation with a 0-29 shutout against a good Patriots defense. This scenario certainly won’t change much this Sunday when they face Dallas, another team with one of the best defenses in the league.

Unfortunately for them, that part of the team did not perform well on Sunday night, as they lost 17-26 to the undefeated Eagles. For the first time this season, the Cowboys allowed more than 20 points to an opponent, while Cooper Rush had his worst performance in place of Dak Prescott, throwing three interception passes and only one touchdown.

Prediction: Under.

New York Giants (+135) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (-159) / Sunday, October 23 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Giants Spread: +3.0.
  • Jaguars Spread: -3.0.
  • Over/Under: 42.5

The Giants remain on track for a great season, and next Sunday they have a good opportunity to add another win when they visit the Jaguars.

New York got a good 20-24 win over the Ravens to drop their record to 5-1. The Giants were not as solid on the defensive side of the ball as in previous games, but an interception to Lamar Jackson with just under 4:00 minutes left in the game was more than enough for the offense to score a TD and turn the game around.

In the case of the Jaguars, they fell for the third consecutive week to leave their record at 2-4. The Jacksonville team engaged in a give-and-take with the Colts, but ultimately it was the Colts who came out on top, winning 27-34. Jacksonville allowed for the first time this season more than 30 points and for the second time more than 400 total yards, while the offense’s best performance was on the ground, recording 243 yards and three TDs.

Prediction: Giants Spread.

Indianapolis Colts (+120) vs Tennessee Titans (-141) / Sunday, October 23 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Colts Spread: +2.5.
  • Titans Spread: -2.5.
  • Over/Under: 42.5

The AFC South lead is on the line this Sunday when the Colts and Titans meet in NFL Week 7.

Indianapolis is coming off its best offensive game of the season in defeating the Jaguars 27-34, scoring more than 20 points for the first time this year. Matt Ryan had a monumental performance, completing 42 of 58 passes, with 389 air yards and three touchdowns. On defense, the Colts struggled on the ground, despite remaining one of the league’s most solid units in this regard.

For their part, the Titans arrive fresh for a key game after resting last weekend. Tennessee has won three games in a row, including a 24-17 win over the Colts, and with another win against their direct rivals, they could be all but assured of another divisional title despite the number of weeks of action remaining on the schedule.

Prediction: Over.

Green Bay Packers (-227) vs Washington Commanders (+180) / Sunday, October 23 / 1:00 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Packers Spread: -5.5.
  • Commanders Spread: +5.5.
  • Over/Under: 41.5.

Sunday’s NFL Week 7 brings us the game between Packers and Commanders, two teams with very different goals but with a similar record so far.

The Green Bay team seems to be going from bad to worse after being defeated at home by the Jets with a 10-27 slate and falling to a 3-3 record. The main reason for these numbers is Aaron Rodgers’ season: he has yet to exceed 255 air yards in a 2022 matchup and threw for 222 yards and one touchdown on Sunday. The Packers were barely able to score three points in the first half, and for the third time this year have scored 14 or less in a game.

For their part, the Commanders beat the Bears 12-7 in a game where the first touchdown came with 7:16 left in the third quarter. Washington totaled just 278 total yards, including 99 through the air from the now-injured Carson Wentz, so the “X” factor in the game was a red zone defense that allowed no points on three Bears’ visits.

Prediction: Packers Spread.

New York Jets (+135) vs Denver Broncos (-159) / Sunday, October 23 / 4:05 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Spread Jets: +3.0.
  • Broncos Spread: -3.0.
  • Over/Under: 40.0.

While the Jets are on the upswing, the Broncos and Russell Wilson are slowly sinking in the AFC West.

The New York team moved up to second place in the AFC East with its third win in a row and a 4-2 record. They shocked the visiting Packers with a 27-10 win thanks to a combined 179 yards and two touchdowns from the running back corps, as well as the four catches and one blocked and returned kickoff to the end zone by the defense and special teams.

Meanwhile, Denver continues its free fall by losing its second consecutive overtime game after falling 16-19 to the Chargers on Monday night. Despite a good start by Russell Wilson, with 10 points in the first quarter, the Broncos’ offense gradually fizzled out again, scoring just two field goals in the rest of the game. Another terrible offensive game that overshadowed a great effort by a superb defense.

Prediction: Under.

Houston Texans (+240) vs Las Vegas Raiders (-303) / Sunday, October 23 / 4:05 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Texans Spread: +7.0.
  • Raiders Spread: -7.0.
  • Over/Under: 45.5.

In a matchup of rested teams, the Texans and Raiders return to action in search of their second win of the season.

Houston picked up its first win before going into the break with a 13-6 win over the Jaguars with a good defensive performance. Despite allowing 422 total yards, they forced two turnovers and, for the third time this season, allowed less than 20 points to an opponent.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas went into the break with a bitter taste in its mouth after a 29-30 loss to the visiting Chiefs. In one of the Raiders’ best games this season, they were unable to hold a 10-point lead after the first half to stay at the bottom of the AFC West.

Prediction: Raiders Spread.

Seattle Seahawks (+225) vs Los Angeles Chargers (-278) / Sunday, October 23 / 4:25 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Seahawks Spread: +6.5.
  • Chargers Spread: -6.5.
  • Over/Under: 51.5

Few could have thought that this game between the Seahawks and Chargers could have so much significance in NFL Week 7.

Seattle has surprised everyone with one of the best offenses in the league and despite having one of the weakest defenses, they evened their record to 3-3 on Sunday to take co-leadership of the NFC West with a 9-19 win over the Cardinals. QB Geno Smith has quickly made Russell Wilson forgettable and if the defense tightens up a bit more, the Seahawks could be a headache.

That’s precisely what the Chargers, who are coming off a 16-19 overtime win over the Broncos on Monday night, want to avoid. Justin Herbert and company picked up their fourth win of the year despite not having had their best night against a powerful Denver defense. Against Seattle things should flow much better, but the Seahawks’ offense is much stronger than that of the Broncos, a team that made a lot of demands on them in the early going.

Predicción: Spread de Seahawks.

Kansas City Chiefs (-159) vs San Francisco 49ers (+135) / Sunday, October 23 / 4:25 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Chiefs Spread: -3.0.
  • 49ers Spread: +3.0.
  • Over/Under: 48.5

Next Sunday’s daytime action brings the curtain down on what promises to be a great matchup between the Chiefs and 49ers.

Kansas City, one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl, is coming off a tough loss to another favorite, the Bills, who won 20-24. Facing Buffalo’s tough defense, Patrick Mahomes was not at his best as he threw for 338 yards with two TDs and two interceptions, one of them on the last offensive series to try to turn the scoreboard around. As expected, the Chiefs’ secondary struggled against Josh Allen, conceding three touchdowns and 338 air yards.

For their part, the 49ers were shocked in their visit to Atlanta when they were defeated 14-28 by the Falcons. Although their defense held strong, conceding just 268 total yards, it could do nothing about the offense’s turnovers. Meanwhile, Atlanta scored points off of Jimmy Garoppolo’s two interceptions and Jeff Wilson Jr.’s fumble.

Prediction: Under.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+240) vs Miami Dolphins (-303) / Sunday, October 23 / 9:10 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Steelers Spread: +7.0.
  • Dolphins Spread: -7.0.
  • Over/Under: 44.5.

NFL Week 7’s Monday Night Football will be contested by the Steelers and Dolphins, two teams in somewhat complicated situations this season.

Despite the fact that Pittsburgh is coming off one of last weekend’s surprises with an 18-20 win over the Buccaneers to stay within one game of first place in the AFC North with a 2-4 record, the doubts about their offense don’t seem to be over. Between Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett, who left in the third quarter with a concussion, the Steelers totaled just 270 yards and still haven’t scored more than 23 points. The good news is that their defense bounced back in a big way from the beating by the Bills.

As for the Dolphins, they continue to suffer from the absence of Tua Tagovailoa as they fell for the third consecutive game and dropped their record to 3-3. The 16-24 loss to the Vikings marked the third straight game in which Miami has scored 17 points or fewer, as the defense tried to stop a Minnesota team that took full advantage of the Dolphins’ three turnovers.

Prediction: Steelers Spread.

Chicago Bears (+280) vs New England Patriots (-345) / Monday, October 24 / 8:15 PM E.T.

NFL Week 7 Predictions Betting Odds
  • Bears Spread: +8.0.
  • Patriots Spread: -8.0.
  • Over/Under: 39.5.

NFL Week 7 will conclude on Monday Night Football with the game between the Bears and the Patriots, two teams in very different places right now.

With their 12-7 loss to the Commanders, the Chicago team fell for the third consecutive time and dropped to 2-4 this season. The Bears’ only touchdown in the game came midway through the third quarter on a 40-yard pass from Justin Fields, who fell short of 200 yards for the fifth time on the year. On the ground, Chicago’s offense again ran for 238 yards, but they went 3-0 in the red zone and for the third time failed to score more than 12 points.

On the defensive end, New England has come back to life and after shutting out the Lions two weeks ago, this past Sunday they only allowed 15 points to the Browns. The Patriots have five consecutive weeks forcing at least two turnovers, and against Cleveland they forced four to give their opponent no chance. For the second week in a row, they allowed less than 320 total yards, while rookie QB Bailey Zappe had a strong performance with 309 yards and two touchdown passes.

Prediction: Patriots Spread.
