After a strong start to the season, the Browns have lost three consecutive games, two of them by two points to the Falcons and Chargers.
The main problem in those games has been the turnovers that the opponents have taken advantage of to get on the scoreboard. Against the Patriots, this became much greater as they added four turnovers, two by fumble and two by interceptions to Jacoby Brissett. The quarterback has at least one INT in his last three games, and in two of those Cleveland recorded 20 points or fewer.
On the defensive side of the ball, things aren’t going so well either. The Browns are the second-highest scoring team this season with 163 points, while they are fourth in average yards allowed per play at 6.0. In addition, along with three other defenses, they are the team that has allowed opponents to reach the red zone the most times (24).

Despite being co-leaders of the AFC North with the Bengals, the Baltimore team is a symbol of inconsistency as it has taken turns winning and losing in the first six weeks of the season.
This time, it was the turn to fall to a good team like the Giants, who took advantage of Lamar Jackson’s sixth interception of the season to come back in the fourth period. The 406 total yards, 210 of them thrown by the quarterback, were of little use if mistakes once again cost Baltimore a victory.
Such losses do not help a defense that in each of the team’s three losses has been unable to hold the lead. Against the Dolphins, the Bills, and now the Giants, the Baltimore team led at halftime and ended up losing. This time, although New York barely totaled 238 total yards, they scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to turn the score around.

The Ravens offense needs to wake up from three straight games of 20 or fewer points, and what better way to do it than at home against a Browns defense that has given up the second most touchdowns on the season.
Lamar Jackson knows how to play this team and on Sunday he has everything to get back into his rhythm on the gridiron. The Browns’ offense? It’s a Russian roulette, but Cleveland has a 5-1 record with the Over in 2022 and four of the last seven games between the two have gone the distance.
