Betting on the Arizona Cardinals
- Season record: 4-9
- Spread: +3
- Moneyline: +130
- Over/Under: 36
The visiting team is not having a good campaign. Out of the last five games, they won only one, against the Los Angeles Rams by 27-17 on the road. They then lost to the Seattle Seahawks, 31-21 (home); to the San Francisco 49ers, 38-10 (home); to the Los Angeles Chargers, 25-24 (home) and to the New England Patriots, 27-13 (home). Their record thus far in away games is a little better than that of home games, with a 3-2 mark.
The injury to their star quarterback, Kyler Murray, on just the third play from scrimmage in their most recent game was worse than the fact that they lost. He won’t play on Sunday since it’s thought to be a major knee injury. Meanwhile, veteran Colt McCoy took his position against the Patriots.
Betting on the Denver Broncos
- Season record: 3-10.
- Spread: -3
- Moneyline: -150
- Over/Under: 36
The home team has a poor campaign of 3-10 and lost its last five games: 17-10 vs Tennessee Titans (away); 22-16 vs Las Vegas Raiders (home); 23-10 vs Carolina Panthers (away); 10-9 vs Baltimore Ravens (away); and 34-28 vs Kansas City Chiefs (home).
The highlight of the last loss is the way they bounced back after a 27-0 run that seemed to seal the game: they scored three touchdowns in a span of three and a half minutes, which gave them back their hopes of a victory that was not in anyone’s plans. But in the end, as in other cases, it was not enough.
The Broncos are missing several players due to injury for Sunday’s game, including Dakota Allen, Dalton Risner, Courtland Sutton, Eyioma Uwazurike and Mike Boone.
JefeBet Prediction
Given that the Broncos perform worse at home and the Cardinals do better on the road, we at JefeBet predict that the Arizona Cardinals will prevail.
Prediction: Cardinals win by less than 10 (ARI 24 – DEN 17).
