Betting on the Atlanta Falcons
Week 6 in the NFL was full of surprises, and one of them came from the Atlanta Falcons, who beat the San Francisco 49ersand not only won that game, they also scored a total of 28 points against what had been the best defense of the season. This continued what has been an inconsistent season for the team, as prior to that they lost to big rivals like the Rams and the Buccaneers.
That important win saw the Falcons make great use of their best weapon so far: the ground game. They traveled more yards that way (168) than through the air (121), which helps them start this week as the third-highest average yardage-producing team to date (165.2).
Betting on the Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals are another team that has been stumbling this season, and after the former Super Bowl finalist started their season with two consecutive losses, they have done well enough to put themselves with a 3-3 record, with their last game in that span being a 30-26 win over the New Orleans Saints after coming back from a six-point lead in the final minutes of the game.
Their defense will have to get back to its best after allowing the Saints a total of 399 yards in that game, which is the most they have allowed in a game so far in the regular season.
